Brad!

Arrow Tuesday, June 5, 2001 @ 8:34 pm

OMG! This has got to be a dream, haha. Judging from talking to Brad tonight, he has got to be the sweetest guy in the world! We talked for over an hour (and let me tell you that it was our first phone conversation) and he’s just SOOO nice. He kept telling me how awesome I was and that I was cute & pretty and that he was developing a little crush on me … geez, a guy has never even said those words in my presence, much less to me, before! Plus … *Zac: drumroll please* … he can cook! LOL, I can’t cook to save my life — the most complicated thing I’ve done is like made instant rice or something. Haha, but yeah. I wonder how tomorrow (when I meet him) will go? And dude, what about Brandon? Does he even like me? I’m gonna be watching him bowl on Thursday, which I’m looking forward to — especially after he showed me how strong his arms were from bowling, hehe. Man, I bet I sound like a freaky little teenybopper obsessed with guys now, right? Haha … but anyway, the next two days of my life will be very interesting. So, wish me luck, and adios for now!

Brandon.

Arrow Sunday, June 3, 2001 @ 11:44 pm

Aww … okay, last night with Brandon (my second time meeting with him) was so cool! I was only supposed to stay 30 minutes with him at the bowling alley (’cause Dave was in charge), but since Dad thought that I was gonna come out after that time & I thought that he was gonna come in, I ended up staying for over an hour, which turned out to be a good thing! I think we bonded more and got a little more comfortable around each other ’cause of that. For example, he found out that I was ticklish (hehe), and I just know that one day he’s gonna catch me off guard and, well, ya know, tickle me to death or something, lol. It’s *kinda* weird, though … we’re not officially going out or anything, but everytime I see him, he hugs me (he gives long hugs, too, which are really comforting but hard to get used to ’cause I hardly ever give/get hugs, and if I do, they’re like 2 milliseconds long … but oh well) and stuff and we flirt a little, but I dunno. OMG, and then at the end, he picked me up. Can you believe that? At first I was like, okay, what are you doing, but then I was like, hmm, a guy I sorta like just spontaneously decided to pick me up — I’m not complaining (except for the fact that it was in front of few customers, which drew me back into my little shell)! I feel bad for not calling him today, though … I was at Shaune’s and we were online so I couldn’t really anyway, but I hope he’s not mad … ’cause I said I’d try to call him, but I didn’t say that I definitely would … so yeah. Oh, and guess what? Our trip to Milwaukee, Toronto, and Montreal will hopefully end on August 4th, and if it does, I’ll get to see Brandon leave for the army (on August 6th)! Yay! He’s gonna be so happy when I tell him. Okay, well I think I’ve blabbed enough about Brandon for one night, lol … so, I guess I’ll ttyl! Bye!

Damn, why does Shaune have to be such a good stick-shift driver? Grr, hehe  She thinks that Brandon is cute, though, which is definitely a good thing! Wonder what Kristen’ll say when I tell her what happened with him, haha.

And dayam … Brandon is strong! I had no idea that bowling could get you those kind of muscles, hehe … he doesn’t even work out!

By the way, do you like this quote? “You were my candle in the window on a cold, dark, winter night.” I do!

A Friday hug.

Arrow Wednesday, May 30, 2001 @ 9:40 pm

Aww … I *just* got off the phone with Brandon, and while this isn’t a really big deal or anything (I think it is), he said that if this one guy is in charge at his work on Friday night (when we meet), I’d just have to walk in, give him a hug, and walk out. LOL … yay! Hehe, I get to hug him  Yeah, I know that sounds kinda stupid, but hey, if you were me, you’d be just as excited as I am. Now all that has to happen is for Ross’s tennis practice or whatever to NOT be at the same time as that when I’d meet Brandon. ‘Cause that would not be good — to have to call everything off until probably the next day or two after we’d planned it out and all … but oh well. Those of you who read this, cross your fingers for me! LOL … well, I’m gonna go check some email now, so ttyl! Bye bye!

I’m listening to Hanson’s “Middle Of Nowhere” CD right now (which I haven’t spun in forever)! Aw, they rock. The song “Weird” is just ending .. *pauses* … and now it has

And why the hell did Sunny (of all people) call the house today? Well, it was Ross who he actually talked to, and Ross told me that he was *joking* about being drunk and stuff. Just, omg — he makes me sick! And WHO the freak are Brian, Kevin, and Roger, three guys I don’t know, who someway or another got my number? *sigh* It better not have been through Sunny …

Um?

Arrow Wednesday, May 30, 2001 @ 1:41 pm

Hey-lo. I think “hey-lo” is my new little thing now, haha. Anyway, okay, I was talking to Brandon last night, and sometime during our conversation he said something like “I’ll have to be hard on myself when I leave [for the military], ’cause, ya know, I won’t be able to see you anymore.” Now, is it just me, or does that imply that he likes me? Whichever is cool with me, but just wondering … ’cause I kinda like him, too. Man, Dad must think I’m crazy ’cause I meet like a billion people off the internet lol. But oh well. And if anybody cares, I’m online right now ’cause my roommate is packing and kicked me out of our room so she wouldn’t get embarassed from all her junk, haha. Typical Jackie  Well, I g2g now, but ttyl!

Ah, study hall.

Arrow Tuesday, May 29, 2001 @ 8:25 pm

Hey-lo. What’s up? How YOU doing (Joey from Friends, hehe). Don’t ask why, but I LOVE the background on here. I dunno, it’s just so peaceful and serene and pretty and cool, and well, I’m sure you get the point, haha. Well, I’m bored, as usual. Yes, it’s study hall, and yes, my Spanish exam is tomorrow, but for some reason it comes easy to me, so I’m not gonna study until tomorrow morning … so it’s all good  Talked a lot to Brandon today — online. Wrote me a cute email, too. Turns out that the bowling alley where we’re gonna meet is “10 seconds” (in Dad’s words) from where Ross has basketball practice, so hopefully I WILL get to see him on Friday if everything goes well. Man, why does Dad have to think that every guy I meet online is some kinda stalker? Sure, I know that it happens sometimes, but it’s not like I”m meeting him at some park at midnight, and when I meet him he’ll be at WORK, so it’s not like he can go anywhere without getting fired … so, ya know? *sigh* But oh well. I’m suddenly tired for some reason. Maybe it’s just school-ends-on-Friday anxiety or something, haha. Hope I do well on the exam tomorrow morning. Especially hope I don’t screw up the preterite and subjuctive verbs. But anyway … I wonder why I never make these entries into paragraphs, lol. I guess I’m too lazy … besides, when someone reads an entry this long down to this point, they’re really interested, which is the whole point of Diaryland anyway, lol  Hmmm … I guess I should go check my MM email now … bye bye!

Gonna call Brandon after study hall gets out tonight — hope the 16 minutes left on my phone card holds out long enough, hehe. If not … ah, well, either he can call or we’ll talk tomorrow.

Well … it’s Monday.

Arrow Monday, May 28, 2001 @ 7:39 pm

Well … today has been eventful. The English exam was at 2 pm, and man, was that awful, lol. I had to write 2 essays, and each ended being 5 pages long, even though they’re only *supposed* to 250 words long, though. Oh well … hopefully their length will make up for how bad I did on the other parts, haha (namely the short answer, passage ID, and matching, lol). Anyway, guess what? Brandon emailed me! Yay! When I called him at work he wasn’t there, but that’s okay. At least he emailed me, hehe. I wonder what Friday’s gonna be like … hopefully cool! OMG, I am so relieved that the English exam is over — all I have left is physics (tomorrow) and Spanish (Wednesday), which are both easy — and then it’s graduation! *score* LOL … well, I’m gonna check out Diaryland stuff now, so ttyl! Bye!

Diaryland & Brandon.

Arrow Sunday, May 27, 2001 @ 4:36 pm

STUPID STUPID Diaryland! Why is it that when I accidentally press the backspace button, this page goes away, and when I press “Forward,” all my writing is gone? GRR … now I have to write everything all over again. Which I’m not gonna do ’cause it just won’t be the same, ya know? *sigh* Oh well — all I said was that I really wanna talk to Brandon right now & that I’m sooo bored. And yeah, my English exam is tomorrow, but it’s at 2 pm, so why waste time now studying when I’ll have all of study hall and the morning to do so? Man, why can’t Brandon get online for like two seconds when he gets home from work or where ever, check him MatchMaker email, and send me the smallest email saying at least “hi, what’s up?” so that I’ll know that he still exists? I so don’t get guys right now. Yeah, they can be sweet cuties sometimes … but other times I want to track them down and yell in their face (not literally, lol). Well, I’m gonna go check stuff out around Diaryland and MatchMaker now, so ttyl! Bye!

Yeah, I’m obsessed with “diaryrings,” as you can see below, hehe.
