Well, today for period 3 I actually played soccer for the first time since I quit playing in middle school. My team lost since we were weak little freshman (hehe), but I think that I did pretty well. Kelly said I did. The stupid teacher kept calling me Diane for some reason, though. Afterwards she finally got my name right and called me Claire, but it was still kinda weird. I don’t wanna call Sunny today, either.
Interim ends today! Yay!

Guess what? Today after my riding general, I went to put Dewey away, and all of a sudden about 15 horses started galloping across the field together! I guess it was a stampede, but I dunno. It was so cool, though … I’d never seen anything like it before. And then they came galloping back. At first I thought they were gonna jump the fence, but fortunately they didn’t. It was probably too high, anyway. Oh, and we have a dorm party tonight! There’s gonna be pizza, cake, soda, and all this cool stuff. I can’t wait!
I just got an email from Dad saying that he did tape all of the Hanson shows yesterday — and on a new tape, too! Yay! Now I just gotta watch it and make sure he got it all …

It’s “Hanson Day” today! Yay! Well, the real Hanson Day is on May 6th, but they’re gonna be on so many TV shows today, it’s kinda like a mini Hanson Day! Hehe … well the “Hansonized” shows are Total Request Live, Making The Video, @MTV, MTV News 1515, and the MTV chat. Man, that’s a lot! Six appearances … I just can’t believe it. This hasn’t happened in a long time. It’s like Hanson mania is coming back or something. Oh well, I just hope that Dad can tape it all … I can’t wait to see it!

Oh my god, I love Da Vinci’s Notebook! I was so blown away by them last night, they are just so awesome! And when I found out that they were at Yorktown, I flipped out! I just couldn’t believe it — they’re been everywhere — Ballston, the Kennedy Center, Borders, everywhere! I don’t know why I like them so much, but I guess there’s something special about them that gets me. I can’t wait until I can see them perform again. And I think that I might make a website about them, too (which will probably be the first one made by a fan). Man … they’re just sooo cool!
Flying was okay, except that I got a headache from the turbulence for some reason. Oh well, at least I got to go up in Mr. Keller’s Cessna plane and see Foxcroft from the air!

Man, this is really weird. I keep having these dreams about going out with people other than Sunny. I mean, about a week ago I dreamed that I was going out with Kid Rock, and then last night I dreamed that I was going out with Taylor Hanson. It’s weird, and sometimes I wish that I had just never met Sunny. All he does is talk about how killing people is cool and that he’s going to be a Marilyn Manson terrorist and rule the world someday. Um, whatever. And 99% of the time he’s so immature and stupid — it makes me sick. Ugh … I wish that I was going out with John from Virginia Beach right now. That would be so much better.

Well, Career Day wasn’t that bad. Two out of the three people that I met were actually interesting, and I even got a stress ball from the lady that I didn’t like. Pretty cool, huh? The trip to the Air & Space Museum yesterday was so tiring … just don’t even ask. Okay, we had to walk around for five hours, and on top of that, I stupidly brought my heavy backpack. And this is a first, as well — the IMAX film that everyone saw made me dizzy. I think it was because we were all sitting in the second row from the front, but it’s still kinda weird. I mean, I can go onto the Steel Phantom with no problem at all, but some little IMAX film makes me dizzy. Hmm … Oh, and remind me to never go into the Hirshhorn Museum again. The art there was just plain freaky, and who in their right mind would make a gigantic stick of butter out of yellow wax, put it on a gigantic wrapper, place it in the middle of a bare wooden floor, and call it art? And who would make a bloody soldier head out of concrete and make the nose out of a bomb? Sometimes I just don’t understand this world, even though I am an artist (somewhat) …
I get to go flying tomorrow! Yay!

Well, interim is okay, except for that stupid little teacher in period 3 who thinks that whatever she says about women in sports is right. Personally, I don’t agree with anything that she says, but oh well. And it’s not like she’s gonna listen to me, either. But anyway, tomorrow we get to go to the Air & Space Museum in Washington, DC. It should be fun since we get to see IMAX movies and stuff (which are really awesome), but the downside is that we have to wear dress code, and I also don’t have any money, so I probably won’t be able to get any food or soveniers there. But oh well, at least I’m going. And I also really don’t wanna have to sit through the whole career day thing this weekend, ’cause all we’re gonna do is like sit there and listen to some old lady talk about how some boring job that she has is cool. Oh, joy.
I get to go flying on Sunday! Yay!
