DDR is not a crime.

Arrow Monday, March 18, 2002 @ 12:05 pm

Okay … wtf? I was just playing DDR … for like an hour max … it probably wasn’t even that long. Then Dad’s like, okay Claire, enough of the game. Uh … excuse me? Ross plays SimCity like all the time, and I just started playing this, yet you’re like, telling me to stop, when it’s just a game. It’s spring break for crying out loud — shouldn’t I be able to play what I want? Then he goes off about how if people at school see me playing it all the time, they’re gonna think I’m “goofing off” instead of doing work. Yeah, right. I don’t play computer games to put off my homework. He can’t just assume that. I’m getting As and Bs … and one D, but that’s ’cause no one told me about that … I was thinking it was a B or C … but no. Anyway … that’s definitely gonna change. And I’m pissed now. What is so bad about DDR? It’s just hitting the arrow keys to the beat of techno music. And yeah, I admit, it’s addicting, but why should he care? It’s freakin’ spring break … *sigh* I don’t get it. Can’t he trust me? Geez … he doesn’t bug me about site stuff … this is the only time he’s been annoying about stuff I do computer-wise. Grr! Sorry … as you can probably tell, I’m pretty pissed right now. And geez … Brad plays more DDR than I do, and his parents don’t care. What’s up with that? Oh well. But please, someone needs to tell me what is so bad about DDR. I really don’t see it.

Fire sunglasses, Ice Age.

Arrow Sunday, March 17, 2002 @ 7:05 pm

Today I saw Shaune, Jose, Jen, and Scott. LOL. First Shaune and I went to Tysons and went to some of our usual stores. Saw the awesomest pair of fire sunglasses in Pac Sun that I must get … dunno why I didn’t when I was there, I had enough money  Psh, oh well.

After that we met up with Jose and everyone else at Skyline, but didn’t see Ice Age like we’d been planning ’cause it was sold out, and ’cause we were like half an hour late of it’s starting point, haha. So we went to McDonald’s, though I didn’t eat anything ’cause I was full from Sbarro at Tysons. Yeah … then we basically left/split up and went home. Hehe … it was cool, except for it being freezing cold and rainy, so yuck to that. When I got home I called Brad (I’m seeing him tomorrow at 3!), went to CVS … and now I’m here online. I gotta remember to get gas before I leave tomorrow, though … ’cause there’s like 1/4 tank left. LOL, watch me forget.

Oh yeah, that reminds me … I gotta email Kyle about JMU *goes and emails him* There — all my emails are now done and replied to. Except the one from Grandma. Oh well … I’ll do that soon. Well, g2g now and eat dinner/do site stuff, so ttyl!

Nap, Lupin movie.

Arrow Sunday, March 17, 2002 @ 12:59 pm

Aww again. Hehe, I saw Brad again today! First time that I’ve seen him for 2 days in a row, each for like 9/10 hours  It was awesome … I drove to Fair Oaks to meet him and Jai, then we went back to the house, tried out some computer games, made really good burgers hehe, talked for a bit, then Jai had to leave, Brad and I took a nap (aww, I’d never done that before … it was great), watched a Lupin movie, played some computer games/watched videos, talked with his mom for a little, and then I left. And he gave me my favorite Lupin video! He had gotten a 3-pack, and already had the one I liked the best, so he gave it to me. I was like yay  I might even see him again tomorrow — he said he’d give me a green bagel (for St. Patrick’s Day) from KSB, hehe. I’m also supposed to see a movie with Jose and Shaune tomorrow too. Dunno how that’s gonna go, ’cause initially Jose wanted to go just with me, but I thought that’d be kinda weird, so Shaune’s gonna come — just gotta call her tomorrow and see if she’s still up for it. And on Tuesday, I’m going to MWC for the second time. Fun fun. Though I really don’t wanna go through the tour again, I guess seeing the riding facilities would be good. But still … it’s like the whole college day we had was a waste if I’m just gonna go do basically the same thing again *sigh* Oh well. Who knows … maybe I’ll meet up with Brad’s friend who goes there.

Video game character quiz.

Video game character quiz
I am a drifter. I go where life leads, which makes me usually a very calm and content sort of person. That or thoroughly apathetic. Usually I keep on doing whatever I’m doing, and it takes something special to make me change my mind. What video game character are you?

LOL. Don’t ask why I’m up at almost 3 am, talking to the weird poetry guy and listening to the Bring It On soundtrack

Pot roast, McDonald’s.

Arrow Saturday, March 16, 2002 @ 12:51 pm

Aww, today with Brad so cute, hehe  Okay, well first, he finally met Allena, Erica, and Meg at school today … I think they liked him, but dunno. Then we drove back to his house in the dunebuggy, which was really fun — everyone was looking at us like the car was the coolest thing, hehe. I was like yeah!

Once at his house, we played DDR for a little bit, watched a Lupin movie and the end of some vampire movie, then started dinner (pot roast). During that his parents came home, and we had to make 2 trips to the store ’cause while on the first one we forgot to get potatoes, lol. And what was kinda cool/sweet/unexpected was that while we were walking down one of the aisles in the store, Brad was like, “know what would be cool? If we were like a family.” At first I wasn’t 100% sure what he meant, but then he said, “but I made this promise to myself that I wouldn’t get married ’til I was 21.” Does that mean what I think it means? Does it mean he loves me so much that he wants to marry me? That would be like, so incredibly sweet  Though I agree on the waiting part, I was just kinda like woah. Who knows if it was a subtle hint or just something I noticed by coincidence … it’s cool too. So yeah, I don’t know about everybody else, but that little part was one of the best parts about the night. Aside from cooking dinner with him … we hardly do that, so it was a nice change. And watching the Lupin movie was good too.

On the way home, we stopped to get ice cream at McDonalds (hey, what else is open at 10:30 pm lol) … kinda like we did the first time we met (aww, memories), and while we were sitting there, this car with 2 girls came in the lot, and Brad said one of them pointed at him, then the other pointed at me, and after they left, Brad was like, “that’s right, I’m taken.” LOL. Hehe. I might even get to see him again tomorrow if things work out! So yay.

By the way, I asked Jose about the marrying thing above, and he said he didn’t wanna say anything about it. Umm? Oh well. I still think it’s sweet.

Neil/Brad dream, school stuff.

Arrow Thursday, March 14, 2002 @ 9:48 am

Woah. I just remembered I had a dream about meeting Neil. He was tall, too, like as tall as Brad, maybe a little more. Weird, lol. Brad was also there … and they were both like hugging me, but that’s all I remember. Oh well.

Anyway, I’m still sick. And Erica has whatever I have, too, so I’m guessing I got it from her. The English essay went okay, though I think Mrs. Herbert’s pissed at me ’cause I took 5 extra minutes to finish it, and then accidentally interrupted this girl’s presentation in the next class. And then was 15 minutes late to history. But I told Mr. Coven, so I don’t think he’s gonna count it (yay). I’m about to go take my algebra test, so hopefully that’ll go well. And then after I get the history thesis thing done for tomorrow, I’m free (almost) work-wise for spring break! Yay! And I get to see Brad on Friday for once, lol, instead of Saturday or Sunday. Too bad his spring break ends on Sunday, but oh well. I’ll probably still drive out to see him some days. Well, g2g to algebra now, but I’ll update everyone again later on what’s up. Bye!

P.S. Happy 19th birthday Tay!
