Do not want.
Friday, December 21, 2007 @ 12:29 pm Never thought I wrote anything of importance here, but I guess content theft doesn’t care about that. So imagine my surprise when I checked my WordPress dashboard a few minutes ago to find a trackback from a splog (spam blog) on my last UM post. The splog seems to be targeted towards the keyword “treadmill” and subsequently grabs content when it appears on other sites. At least they give credit to the original site? Ugh. At the moment I’m glad nofollow is automatically on in WordPress — don’t want to delete the trackback just yet so people can see everything in its original state ![]()

Predictably enough, it appears your scraper grabbed this post as well.
What is going on is that you’re dealing with a keyword scraper, they latch on to certain search terms and, anytime they see a post with it in there, they grab it.
Fortunately, the situation should be pretty easy to resolve. I have a stock DMCA notice on my site that you can use. Just fill it out and send it to copyrightclaims@godaddy.com and they should handle it pretty quickly. GoDaddy, their host, typically handles such matters very swiftly.
If you need any help with that or have any questions, please feel free to send me an email. I’ll be out of town most of this weekend but I’ll be checking my mail periodically.
Let me know if I can do anything to help!
