Cars behaving badly.
Monday, March 26, 2007 @ 11:08 am Last night on 81 on my drive back to Harrisonburg, there was a Porsche (I think) in the left lane going slow and not caring, so I passed him on the right ’cause there was an even slower truck coming up. But that was only the beginning. For the next 20 minutes or so, the Porsche and I played leap-frog: I’d pass him, get several hundred feet ahead, then he’d speed up and either stay beside me or get right in front of me, close enough that I had to brake a little bit or get in the other lane. The weird part was that I had cruise control on and going 75ish the whole way … couldn’t figure out why the Porsche had such a large speed range. Either he was drunk, had little experience on the highway/with the car, or was trying to tell me something (couldn’t see his face ’cause of the way the car was shaped). He finally exited/slowed way down after I looked over for a few seconds during one of his flanking maneuvers and tried to figure out wtf he was doing
I’ll have to make a list of the questionable things I’ve seen on 81/66 when I’m done at JMU.

Highway 81 sucks!!!! That kind of thing has happened to me before, too, although I wasn’t going quite as fast as you were. Miss ya!
