Like everyone else, I’ve been busy with school and nothing exciting going on (haven’t even had time to play The Sims!).

Then my ceiling started leaking last night — onto my bed After I realized what was happening I freaked out a little bit, pushed it away, and got a tupperware container and some newspaper to catch the rest of the yucky brown water. It dripped every 5 - 10 seconds (kinda like Chinese water torture) and continued for about 4 hours. When I woke up there was maybe an inch of water in the container, but who knows what it’s like now since I’ve been at work all day and the rain has increased since I left this morning. The upstairs is fine as far as I can tell, so the water is probably coming through the old shingles and into the couple feet or so of ceiling that isn’t accessible from the 2nd floor. This happened to Starza’s room last year, so I guess my time has come. I can only wonder how long it’ll take LJ (my landlord) to fix it … and what room will be hit with the next hard rain.
