Donald Rumsfeld is giving the president his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: “Also, yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed.”

“OH NO!” the president exclaims. “That’s terrible!”

His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the president sits, head in hands.

Finally, the president looks up and asks, “How many is a brazillion?

Just got done with my metal “exam” — it took almost 5 hours and out of all the possibilities, I drew sweat soldering. At first I was like okay, cool, doesn’t sound too bad ’cause my sweat soldering exercise went perfectly the first time. But no … after like 4 attempts of heating and repositioning solder and pickling and scrubbing and filing/sanding the metal, it didn’t want to look halfway decent So I gave up and figured a B was good enough … and the 0.8 points left between that and a B+ can bite me. I’m sick of metal and it can die for all I care.

Happy 18th birthday to my little brother. Man. When I turned 18 I was up all night with my friends in a vacant condo trying to get Jared to go away and Brian to stay lol … Ross won’t be doing anything. Guess that’s why I’m an art major and he’s going in physics?

Just finished watching the last Top Model show of the season — yay for Nicole! Though I really wanted Kim to win, Nicole was my choice of the final two. Hope she has an awesome year.

So the internet went down after the snowstorm last night, and after calling Adelphia a second time, they told me that the whole state of Virginia was down Is it just me, or is that not supposed to happen? I mean, it couldn’t have snowed everywhere and it can’t be that a single wire controls an entire state’s connectivity, can it? I dunno. All I know is that it was down from about 9:30 pm to 2ish (when I went to sleep) and it gave me time to catch up on my magazines, watch Leno, and clean the bathroom (it really really needed it lol).

Speaking of snow, I really really wish that today was yesterday (when I actually had and slept through an 8 am … can’t function on 3 hours of sleep). But yeah, the first hour of classes today were canceled and mine don’t start ’til 10:45 Meh. But at least the snow is pretty … need to take a couple pictures before it melts.
