Aw, Mackie (one of my kitties) is sitting on my lap
He hardly ever does that, so yay.
I added a link to The Animal Rescue Site at the bottom of my sidebar. I’ve always wondered how those sites (there’s like 5 affiliated ones) can donate so much (at no cost to you) with only a click. I mean, isn’t there a way for people to write scripts that continuously click a link … or just click the link manually over and over? How can they tell the clicks are genuine (or does it not matter)? Either way, I’ve always liked those sites (used to click on The Hunger Site a lot), so I decided to finally post something not related to blogs in the sidebar ![]()

I’m tired of this layout already … meh. Maybe the next one will be done in my newly-acquired Illustrator
Except for one or two times (they were small bites), I haven’t eaten meat in exactly a month. Go me. I figured since I don’t eat it that much anyway and the meat at school is mediocre at best, I’d see if I could do it. And I did. It wasn’t hard at all and actually made me feel a little better … now I just have to figure out Thanksgiving and what to do when my dad cooks (he’s a meat person). What inspired me to try giving up meat? Mainly this group on MySpace and Starza’s blog ![]()

Happy day. iTunes 6 is out and my dad let me get Illustrator CS2 ($99 at the bookstore!) since the lab hours here are stupid (not to mention busy with classes half the day and freezing). Only thing that sucks is my typography logo’s due tomorrow, but hopefully with my new software I’ll be okay.
Edit: I can’t believe it, but he (the professor) actually had nothing bad to say about my logo
Check it out:

$40 tequila shouldn’t make me sick, but it did. Not to mention feeling like crap (emotionally) with no one to make me feel better, so I’m going to bed and wishing I didn’t have to wake up ![]()

I went on a Firefox extension binge last night and got a whole lot of new stuff that I wish I’d known about before. Since some other people out there might want to do the same, here’s my current list of “foxy goodness:”
Extensions (14)
ColorZilla: cool tool for graphic/web designers
CustomizeGoogle: disable ads and other non-important stuff in almost every part of Google
Define Word: look up a word in your dictionary of choice from your context menu
Disable Targets For Downloads: prevent blank windows when clicking a download link
Ebay Negs!: view an eBayer’s negative feedback with a single click (good for when they have pages and pages of feedback)
Firesomething: create a new name for Mozilla Firefox (mine’s Mozilla Fireduck) in your title bar
GDirections: no more copying an address, pasting into Google Maps, and typing your own for the 39205th time
IE View: for those pesky IE-only sites, right from your context menu
Menu Editor: get rid of unwanted menu bulk
Sage: clean & simple feed reader
Single Window: keep all your links/tabs within one window and have your home page open with every new tab instead of just the first one
Sort Bookmarks: self-explanatory
Sort Extensions: self-explanatory
WebmailCompose: check your email and send messages — no matter what program you use — via the context menu or navigation toolbar icon
