And on my way home from doing my runs for work one evening, I was turning around in a parking lot at CCU (the local college) and suddenly lost all acceleration power.  Like, the engine would rev if I hit the pedal, but it wouldn't budge at all.  As if I was stuck in neutral.
It turned out that my transmission had essentially dissolved; at least, a couple of very very important pieces inside it.  It cost nearly $2500 to get it fixed, and I'd only paid $4000 for the car a month prior.  You might say it wasn't a very happy time for me, hehe...</description>
