Blah layout, no meat.

I’m tired of this layout already … meh. Maybe the next one will be done in my newly-acquired Illustrator

Except for one or two times (they were small bites), I haven’t eaten meat in exactly a month. Go me. I figured since I don’t eat it that much anyway and the meat at school is mediocre at best, I’d see if I could do it. And I did. It wasn’t hard at all and actually made me feel a little better … now I just have to figure out Thanksgiving and what to do when my dad cooks (he’s a meat person). What inspired me to try giving up meat? Mainly this group on MySpace and Starza’s blog

Well, that’s just great for you guys, but what should the rest of us do? You know, the ones who are allergic to legumes… that means no peanuts, no soybeans, and nothing that’s been near them. That means no meat substitutes like tofu or protein shakes or anything. I’m gonna go eat some dead pig.

I’ve told you before that there are people like us who are ALSO like you and can survive … you don’t have to be disrespectful.

Thank you both very much for correcting me. I’m so sorry I offended you. I was under the impression that there are different kinds of proteins that the human body needs, in order to function properly — and that some of those proteins are available from either meat or legumes. Apparently I was wrong. But that’s okay, because I respect your choice not to eat meat, and I’m sure you respect my choice to continue to eat meat. I’m glad we can all be open minded and civil.
