Pimp your Firefox.

I went on a Firefox extension binge last night and got a whole lot of new stuff that I wish I’d known about before. Since some other people out there might want to do the same, here’s my current list of “foxy goodness:”

Extensions (13)

ColorZilla: cool tool for graphic/web designers

CustomizeGoogle: disable ads and other non-important stuff in almost every part of Google

Define Word: look up a word in your dictionary of choice from your context menu

Disable Targets For Downloads: prevent blank windows when clicking a download link

Ebay Negs!: view an eBayer’s negative feedback with a single click (good for when they have pages and pages of feedback)

Firesomething: create a new name for Mozilla Firefox (mine’s Mozilla Fireduck) in your title bar

GDirections: no more copying an address, pasting into Google Maps, and typing your own for the 39205th time

IE View: for those pesky IE-only sites, right from your context menu

Menu Editor: get rid of unwanted menu bulk

Sage: clean & simple feed reader

Single Window: keep all your links/tabs within one window and have your home page open with every new tab instead of just the first one

Sort Extensions: self-explanatory

WebmailCompose: check your email and send messages — no matter what program you use — via the context menu or navigation toolbar icon
