Never thought I’d be saying this, but at the moment I love Harrisonburg. Went downtown (which I try to avoid ’cause all the streets are one way and go in circles) to find a place called “Touch of the Earth” to get an eyebrow ring for my metal project. Luckily I find it on my second round through, get a metered parking place right after they’re free, go into the tiny store that smells of incense and candles, and ask the lady there about eyebrow rings. She shows me what they have and after five minutes of looking I find what I’m looking for (pretend the colored balls are clear):

Know what else? Since the piece was 50% off and I didn’t have the resulting $3 in cash, she let me have it for free as long as I came back later to pay and show her my project So yay.

I’ve also wanted to get my eyebrow pierced for a while, and after all the piercing talk in class and seeing a few options at Touch of the Earth, I wanna do it even more I know Brian probably wouldn’t like it and my dad and brother would be like hell no, but they can just deal since I’m not 16 anymore. Besides, I can always let it close up. What do you think?
