*sigh* What a busy 24 hours: Hanson concert … car breaking down … missing class (which turned out to be a bad idea) … Halloween … and still have to have dinner, drive back to JMU, and get some sleep before class tomorrow, which also will be very busy. Meh. At least Google’s Halloween logo makes me smile:

I so forgot Daylight Savings Time was last night … I just hope I remember to change my clock at school tonight before passing out. And now for this week’s mutterings (when it says _____, I think _____):
- Unbreakable :: Heart.
- Have mercy :: Give me a break.
- Do it better :: Improve.
- Settle scores :: Make peace.
- Comments :: Blog popularity.
- Craziest thing :: Topic of college students’ conversations.
- Apple :: Orange.
- Halloween :: Black and orange, candy.
- Manageable :: Hair.
- Trick :: Treat.

Hehe.

You should focus on Isaac. You’re quiet and reserved. You tend to like the simple things in life, however you could go for some action soon, the History Channel is only gonna suffice for so long. What Hanson would you most likely click with?

Everyone needs to visit Bembo’s Zoo. These people took 26 animals (each starting with a different letter of the alphabet) and made pictures of them using just their letters
My typography professor showed it to us during class, and I was like wow (my favorite is the peacock). Make sure you have Flash installed (mandatory) and sound turned on (optional) for it to work.
I broke out my ear warmers and gloves today — and will probably need my winter coat tonight for Rich’s office hours. It wasn’t so bad during the day, but when I went to get the mail like 30 minutes ago it really felt like winter … like it could start snowing any minute. It even smelled like snow. But since it’s October, all it’s gonna do is be really cold and make everyone miserable ’til holiday break. Good thing I have hot tea, my fleece blanket, and heat (at least when it’s higher than 66 lol) to keep me warm
I’ll now reiterate my first post, written today, using WordPress.com:
Today I used my WordPress.com blog for the first “real” time — downloaded the Akismet plugin for my main blog and used my key here to activate it. Yay. I don’t get much spam anyway thanks to Bad Behavior, but that will be turned off for the time being … Akismet, show your stuff.

I’ve always wondered about the difference … now I know!
I’m also wondering why it’s so frickin’ cold in this house. I don’t even want to move … which is probably why I’m cold but oh well. I just want a big blast of warm air to blow on me until it becomes summer again *shivers*
Okay, must go and be productive the rest of the night *gets up … soon*

Well my metal project (2 pairs of piercings) was a bust. Spent three hours working on them last night (even accidentally cut my finger with a saw Thursday night), yet when critique time rolled around I, again, was one of the few that didn’t get any beans (what each person uses to show whose project they liked the best). I don’t get it … I work just as hard as everyone else, but then have nothing to show for it in the end *sigh* Maybe the last project (a ring) will be different.
Read The Breeze today and saw all these cool places advertised around Harrisonburg and neighboring towns that I’d love to go to, except can’t, because doing certain things alone isn’t any fun. Like hiking on Skyline Drive and taking pictures of the fall foliage or pumpkin/apple picking at a family farm that also has a corn maze, hay rides, etc. Brian should come here for once next weekend.

I cleaned up my main feed today! Made it so that you can finally see images, synched it with FeedBurner to be more user-friendly, and edited my .htaccess so that if you click on the “old” URL (http://www.weirdncrazy.com/universe/feed/), you’ll be redirected to FeedBurner instead of the boring default XML page (and counted in my total number of subscribers if, well, you subscribe). So yay.
FYI, my comment feeds still need to be viewed the “old-fashioned” way in your reader of choice.
