Okay that’s funny — someone just commented (legitimately) on a post that I made four years ago. Talk about fashionably late … she meant well and all, I’m just way over that drama now

Does anyone know where I can get a free unicorn brush or shape for Photoshop 7? All the ones I’ve found cost money, and that’s not cool. I even tried making one, but it sucked, so I’m hoping there’s some brush or shape genius out in cyberspace who can help.

I set up my new WordPress.com blog. Nothing’s there yet, but if I ever need a place to write stuff, I won’t have to look far. Check it out.

Damn … our water bill this month was $55 (per person, so make that $165 total). Plus $19 (x 3) for internet and who knows what for electricity … I think next year I’ll be better off with $300/month for rent where utilities are included … especially when I saw an ad in the Breeze for a place that was $225/month with that, though I keep telling myself there must be something else really wrong with it or too many people. Blah. It sucks asking my dad for money sooner than I was hoping

Edit: My bad … Starza just told me the only reason for the big water bill was ’cause they’d “forgotten” to send us bills for the past few months. So yeah … makes me feel a little better.

Bevin is annoying me. Couldn’t get any sleep last night ’cause he was talking to Starza and Corey (on their night) ’til like 2 or 3 am, and ’cause noise carries in this house like no other, I got maybe 3 hours of sleep (and putting in ear plugs didn’t help ’cause his voice is so frickin’ loud and he can’t understand that some people have to get up at 6). Staying awake in class today was torture, and now he has one of his friends over and is bitching about something to her *sigh* And then look at me … the loser who doesn’t *have* any friends and just goes to class, does her work, and tries not to bother anyone while attempting to stay somewhat content. Which isn’t working too well. Isn’t there something out there that’ll make me happy?

My new favorite band is Xandria. The instruments are a little like Nightwish and the voice is a cross between Lacuna Coil and Sarah Brightman. Yay to my uber-cool methodology professor for frickin’ giving me a copy of their CD (along with two others) all like, “… oh it’s no problem, I’ll just burn another one.” That class rocks. He even put on Within Temptation during our work time today and I was like ooh … then told us to imagine Celine Dion with a metal band, and I instantly thought of Nightwish. Hehe. I wonder how many new bands I’ll discover this semester

I got a WordPress.com invite! Yay Now I just need to figure out if I want to use it, and if so, what to write about in yet another blog.

I also got my first Hanson vinyl yesterday, and it’s pretty … too bad I don’t have a record player, but maybe I’ll find someone who’ll let me use theirs of these days. Wonder why my dad doesn’t have one?

Edit: The Japanese version of Hanson’s Underneath is the coolest thing ever … something shiny!

Someone really likes my Starburst theme — yay! Don’t know how it happened since 2.0 was up for only a couple days (and the person didn’t reply to my email so I figured they’d found another theme), but yeah. I need to click on my Dashboard’s “Incoming Links” more often

Look what I found: the Mac-only screensaver, Flurry, in Windows form! It’s my new favorite (it’s on all the campus Macs) … and now my computer is having an “identity crisis.”
