Went to Chiaroscuro last night, and while the price (2 for $10), music, and atmosphere were amazing and something I definitely wanna experience again, I couldn’t get into it for a number of reasons and consequently got upset, screwed my makeup to hell, and pretty much ruined the evening for Brian But since the crowd was starting to thin by the time I calmed down (around 2), we talked to the exhibited artist for a few minutes, I had a Red Bull to stay awake on the drive home, and left. I know it wasn’t the best night … I just hope my next visit isn’t as crappy (and I remember to bring my camera) *sigh*

Fuck. I forgot to get someone to sign my timesheet, and I really really don’t want to wait ’til Monday ’cause then I won’t get paid ’til like the week after. I even called everyone I know here and they’ve all left for the weekend Maybe I’ll get the cleaning guy to do it.

Edit: Got non-English-speaking cleaning guy to sign it. Eh.

Tonight was sad … it was the Kept finale, and it was down to Austen (my favorite since the beginning) and Seth. And then Jerry just had to go and pick Seth ’cause he was “funnier” and a “bad boy” and that’s what she and her friends are “into.” Or maybe VH1 just wanted her to. Speaking of which, how can they call them “reality” shows when half of what airs is edited and/or untrue and/or plain didn’t happen that way? I found Austen’s blog too … worth a read IMHO.

Had dinner with Brian at Sweetwater, and towards the end he asks the waitress for two boxes for our food … and goes into this whole speech about how he’s sorry for making everything so complicated, wanting more bread, etc. Which is fine, but then after like 5 literal minutes of talking and laughing with her, starts blushing — and when your boyfriend isn’t one to blush often, it kinda irks you.

Had to work late again tonight, but it wasn’t too bad … the client even came by at 9:30 and picked all her stuff up, and agreed with us that the people in charge of the files for the binders and handouts have no sympathy. Good thing there’s only one more day of this insane printing.

Bought my books for school earlier, and get this — only one was required, and cost under $40. I was like score … though I guess it means I’ll be paying an arm and a leg for supplies.

Speaking of school, I can’t believe I’ll be back in three weeks. Yeah it’ll be cool to move in with Starza (and another roommate if I’m lucky) and get used to the off-campus life … I just hope the workload for my art classes doesn’t drive me crazy like IKON sometimes does (and that I don’t forget anything while packing). We’ll see.

*sigh* Have to fuckin’ work late again doing the exact same thing as Friday night, except with 30 copies instead of 88. I’m starting to hate this job with never getting out on time and having to eat crap from the vending machines upstairs ’cause I miss either lunch or dinner. I’m so counting down the days ’til my week of doing nothing before school starts.

I also just found out that Shaune and Mike broke up, which is surprising, but more about that later … endless collating is calling me
