Wow. Not only did I come home to 4 new Hanson songs (yay for Hanson.net 2.2), but I also found about their:

As you can see, Hanson.net decided to be both awesome and annoying and post 592043 updates at once and make all the fans freak out (i.e., I’m up and I shouldn’t be) … not to mention that some of the updates won’t work on anything but IE, and I can’t tell you how much that irritates me (JMU does it too). Why can’t people understand that making things browser-specific is bad?

WordPress 1.5.2 was released yesterday with lots of new stuff. Haven’t had time to install it yet, but will sometime soon.

Went to the IKON picnic on Saturday. Though it was unbearably hot (had to go swimming afterwards), the food wasn’t bad, I got to play a couple games of Spades, and said hi to Derek and Alex (the only people there I knew). Apparently IKON hasn’t had a picnic in like 5 years, so it was cool to partake.

Today will be my last Monday working at IKON, and good riddance to Mondays. Getting up this morning was frickin’ hard.

Eep. I just went to check the validation on my site, and was hit with W3C’s new colors and improved presentation of results. Hooray for them going beyond the sailor look of navy and white.

This is weird … work has never been this slow before. We’ve only done like 2 jobs today and nothing new has come in since lunchtime. Amy’s gone, and while I enjoy the downtime, there’s only so many things you can do on a computer that’s not your own. Selina’s surfing on the other computer, Bernard’s taking a “nap,” and the copy guy is just doing his thing. I wish Derek or someone would come visit to ease the boredom, but alas. Unless something dramatic happens in the next 2 hours, I’m definitely leaving early.

I just love how the built-in wireless on my 1-year-old laptop doesn’t work … and how the 3-year-old external USB adapter borrowed from the PC works better than the 2-year-old PCMCIA card from my older, almost-dead laptop. WTF mate?

Well, they’re gone Though Ray said we could call him whenever we need anything (especially if I’m going skydiving in the near future), it still won’t be the same. No more Rodney shouting “Ray Quick!”, no more inside jokes, no more Ray randomly disappearing. They’re not even coming to the picnic. I mean, Amy’s okay, but she has a lot to learn and can get annoying (and will never be Rodney) … so we’ll see. I just hope we don’t fall apart tomorrow and the rest of the week, and that Monica and Bernard take my place when I go.
