Tomorrow afternoon I head out to JMU. Man … summer’s over already? Feels weird to be going back (especially somewhere off-campus), but I know I’ll get used to it. I was looking at the Harrisonburg bus routes a couple days ago and realized that the house might be situated in such a way that I’ll be walking the railroad tracks (a definite change of scenery) to get to my studio art classes. And when a train goes by, maybe I’ll be brave enough to hop on and shorten my trip
I’ve been on a Hanson high recently. Ever since they decided to be active again and do chats and ticket presales and post new stuff on Hanson.net almost every day, I’ve been listening to them more and posting in the fan club forums (for the first time) and organizing my merchandise and surfing eBay for them — and eBay is addictive. Couple eBay with my Hanson excitement and you get a bad thing lol: I’ve bid on and won 5 6 import Hanson CDs (for under $30 $40 which is amazing) and ordered 3 Hanson items (for about $40) from this site. Thank god for IKON!

Yay, Starza found a new roommate! Dunno why she didn’t tell me before, but oh well. Apparently he’s really dorky but not too bad, so that’s good. What’s not good, however, is that LJ isn’t being that great of a landlord. She said the bathtub needed to be fixed and it took him two weeks to come to the house (after three phone calls), and when he did he was two hours late. So that kinda sucks … I’m hoping the house holds up well enough so we don’t have to deal with him (if he’s gonna be like that) too much. I can’t believe I’ll be moved in next Saturday ![]()

Aw, today’s my last day at work and I’m sad. I got a surprise party for lunch with mini hot dog croissant things from Amy and watermelon, chicken wings, and turkey with bread from Basha and Selina. The Design Center even made me a big card
I didn’t know they’d do something like that since Rodney and Ray didn’t get anything except a tie from Basha, so yay. I’m gonna miss being here … hopefully I can come back one day.

Crap. Though I was able to get 2 Hanson tickets through the presale (which is good), I didn’t realize I was so close to my credit card limit. The ticket purchase plus the gas I got a couple days ago will definitely put me over the limit, and I don’t know what to do to fix it or even what will happen if I do nothing. Brian, of course, isn’t answering his phone even though he said he’d be available to get the tickets (in case I couldn’t), so that’s annoying *sigh* Guess I’ll call my dad … stupid convenience fees. Should’ve used my check card.
Edit: Transferred some money to my credit card account … hopefully it’ll show up before the charges ![]()

I’m at work three hours before my normal time, and I wasn’t even late despite getting less than five hours of sleep. Got to see the duckies at the Waxpool exit dipping their heads underwater for breakfast, and then Amy called to make sure everything was alright here. She is too upbeat and hyper for 7:30 am, but oh well, guess this place could use it. I wonder when the cafe opens …
