Well, fuck. Somehow I misplaced the papers and CDs that came with my old laptop — I don’t remember throwing them away … then again, wouldn’t put it past me. I’ve searched my room and the basement and come up empty-handed. I’ve even tried the Windows 98 and XP Home Edition installation CDs from my other computers, but all they do is bring up errors. Brian can’t figure out why Ubuntu won’t load (why Windows was erased in the first place), so now I have a semi-working laptop with no operating system to put on it *sigh* Maybe it’s time to say goodbye?
