As much as I hate to say it, I am now pretty much a contributor to the evil that swarms mailboxes daily: junk mail. Yep — I had a job interview with Smart Shopper Advertising, Inc. this morning, which went well even though Sam did most of the talking. But I guess that’s just his nature, and since he likes me, will call on Saturday and see if I want the position (yes). Despite the obvious, it sounds like a fun job — free food from clients, season passes to Kings Dominion, money for just sitting around and, most importantly, experience. Sam loves students, and thinks this would be a great opportunity for me. So yay … I might be a graphic designer as soon as Monday
Also just got back from seeing Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Was definitely not expecting a few events, but it was good nevertheless. Got a stupid movie headache about halfway through (which is only starting to die down now), but seeing R2 set droids on fire made up for it
Oh, and WordPress 1.5.1.1 (with fixes for the RSS and pingback/trackback bugs) has been released.

I’ve forgotten how awesome the sound system on the PC is, despite being old … “Entropy” by VNV Nation (on some industrial Shoutcast station) is sounding heavenly.
Made another new layout, this time for my “Dream Girl” (by Hanson) fanlisting. Check it out.
My new favorite song is Seven Lives by In Strict Confidence. Now the rest of their songs need to hurry up and download.

The Keys to Your Heart
- You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.
- In love, you feel the most alive when your partner is patient and never willing to give up on you.
- You’d like to your lover to think you are stylish and alluring.
- You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.
- Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future … one you can grow with.
- Your risk of cheating is low. Even if you’re tempted, you’d try hard not to do it.
- You think of marriage as something that will confine you. You are afraid of marriage.
- In this moment, you think of love as something you can get or discard anytime. You’re feeling self centered.
What are the keys to your heart?
You Are a Retrospective Soul
The most misunderstood of all the soul signs. Sometimes you even have difficulty seeing yourself as who you are. You are intense and desire perfection in every facet of your life. You’re best described as extremely idealistic, hardworking, and a survivor. Great moments of insight and sensitivity come to you easily. But if you aren’t careful, you’ll ignore these moments and repeat past mistakes. For you, it is difficult to seperate the past from the present. You will succeed once you overcome the disappoinments in life. Souls you are most compatible with: Traveler Soul and Prophet Soul.
What kind of soul are you?

Made a new layout for my Gap fanlisting — it really needed it. What do you think?
Watched Pirates of the Caribbean with Brian tonight … “but why is the rum gone?”
I love that movie. And yay for Chinese food.
Finally got my iPod to sync with my Winamp playlist on my fried laptop (couldn’t stand not having “Ordinary World”). Poor laptop … if only HP didn’t suck. I think I just need to call over and over again until I get someone who speaks English.
I’ve been feeling really un-artsy lately … been wearing plain-ish clothes for some reason, haven’t had much to blog about … I dunno why, but I always seem to have a love/hate relationship with the days after school ends. Like I love the freedom and laziness, but I hate knowing I need to find a job (preferably one that doesn’t suck) and start being productive (i.e., working out). Especially since I’ve put an insane amount of money on my credit card this month and cringe every time I ask my dad to help me out. Anyway, to combat the above feeling I’ve set my alarm to go off in six hours so I don’t waste the day. Let’s see if I actually get up.
Sucks that the cheapest gas in Virginia ($1.85 at Sheetz) is in Ridgeway … wherever that is. All the cities I’ve heard of aren’t even on the list. Oh well … at least there’s one perk to living in the middle of nowhere.

Wow, I really hate HP. Just got off the phone with Support and talked to a guy in frickin’ India who I could barely understand, explained numerous times to him that I did not get pop-up windows while online and that the CPU might be damaged, yet he didn’t listen and continued to try and sell me software that costs who knows how much and claimed it would fix all my problems. Right. Then he had me open the Registry Editor and change some value under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and restart. And what a surprise — the machine is still slow *sigh* This is really pissing me off.

Mozilla Firefox 1.0.4 is out, so if you haven’t upgraded yet, go do it — three critical bugs and a DHTML error have been fixed.

Um, that’s odd … I was a moderator over at HansonForums.net, but after the revamp my username and password don’t work. I admit I wasn’t very active over there, but still, they could have at least told me something before ditching me
Eh, oh well … I’ll subscribe again and see if anyone cares (unlikely).
I’d like to note that I’m back on my laptop. No I haven’t sent it back to HP, but since there are times when it doesn’t freak out and make me shut down, I’m gonna use it as much as possible to get stuff back in order before shipping it off. My iPod is a mess and I need to back up my files (something that takes a whole day because USB 2.0 refuses to work), so yeah … if I can get some stuff done before Matt’s graduation this weekend I should be good. Adios!
