Eep … just got an email from HP, and apparently they shipped my computer yesterday — does that mean it’ll be waiting at my door tonight? Or tomorrow? FedEx’s tracking page said it arrived in Memphis, TN at 12:56 pm today … dunno what that means location-wise, but oh well … if I’m lucky maybe I’ll have something to occupy myself with later
Yay for skipping bio, seeing Brian, and computer fix-ed-ness (I hope)!
LOL! From the latest Paul and Storm (half of Da Vinci’s Notebook) mailing list email:
We’ve been busy in the recording studio the past couple weeks, making various noises into a stubby, round-headed contraption with a wire coming out of it, which we’re told will actually save the sounds on a shiny spinning audio round thingy. We’re also told that one can make copies of these thingies, put them in plastic boxes with some paper, cover them in annoying plastic that’s difficult to remove, and people will actually pay money for them! Since we want in on any lucrative scam as much as anyone else, we’re gonna do just that, as soon as we’ve made enough noises (which we will be continuing to do through the rest of April).
On that note, Paul and Storm will be at Jammin’ Java tomorrow night at 8 (which I didn’t know), so I’m definitely there if nothing else is happening. Cool.

I have this sinking feeling that FedEx either won’t come or go to my house instead of Brian’s (especially if the support guy entered Brian’s address wrong), and then I’ll be stuck without a computer for two weeks instead of one *sigh* Stupid computer … I think it’s actually my fault because I bought one of those compressed air dusters to clean out my keyboard, and a day after using it noticed the unusual sound … I’m guessing it blew a speck of dust into the fan?
Update at 4:37 pm: Yay, they came! Now let’s hope they can fix it …

Okay, I’m now convinced a family of bunnies lives in the woods that I pass every time I walk to computer graphics — I saw five (I think) on my way over tonight, and was like aww … look at the bunnies
And I found another person who’s using my theme — yay!

Great, it’s thunderstorming! Just what I want to drive back to JMU in. Bah.
My computer’s still making noise, so I unfortunately will be laptop-less this week as I send it in to HP Support. While it’s a good week to have no computer as I don’t have anything due, it’ll suck to not be able to update my sites or print notes for class. Hopefully it’ll be done by Friday *crosses fingers* Note to self: install wp-exec plugin at that point.

Gmail has decided to increase their storage limit to 2 GB in honor of their 1-year birthday (for real). What’s not for real is the ever-increasing MB counter on the main page (log out if you’re logged in) and a hand-drawn graph predicting how many GBs users will have in the future
It’s funny.
