Well, I’m off to a cabin in the mountains with Brian and his friends for the weekend, most of whom aren’t really my friends too (I see them, what, 3 times a year?). Nevertheless, I go back to school on Monday, so hopefully my last few days of spring break won’t be that bad. And since I’m leaving in like 2 1/2 hours, I should probably start packing and getting ready. Adios.

Wow, yesterday was busy … my legs are sore. Well, 9 (when I woke up) to 4 wasn’t too bad, as I just did stuff around the house … but 4 to 1 wasn’t as easy. Brian and I metroed to the National Gallery, got there around 5, and took too long looking around because once I found a decent painting, I had less than a minute to write down the title, date, and artist before the gallery closed. Eh … I just hope I chose one with enough available information to write a paper.
After that we walked about a mile (it felt like more) trying to find an Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, we failed, and ended up at the M & S Grill (one of 593 steak places we passed). DC really needs to even out its spacing of restaurants. Nevertheless, the food — I got pot roast and Brian got sliced steak — was good.
After that it was like 7:30, so we took the Metro to U St./Cardozo and managed to walk the right way to the club this time. There was absolutely no one outside when we reached it and picking up my tickets was a breeze, so we were in after a couple minutes. The Takeover UK were playing when we got in, and they were alright. For most of their performance and Zao’s, we just sat on the upper-level steps, had drinks, and tried not to fall asleep. Not that the music wasn’t good … it’d just been a long day. I also bought a Juliana Theory shirt and had a few cups of water ’til TJT came on. And though I didn’t know all the songs (or the lyrics), they played some of my favorites and were cool to hear/see live — Brett’s a good dancer
I’m seeing Hotel Rwanda with Erica tomorrow — hopefully it’s as good as it looks.

Um, wtf? Why did my own comment just get put into the moderation queue? I have no frickin’ idea what (if anything) went wrong. Then again, maybe it’s just a fluke … I posted a test comment on this post with no problem.
I had strange yet satisfying dreams last night. Don’t remember the second one, but the first one featured a school trip to a forest and lodge and Owen asking me if I wanted to watch a movie with him.
Spring break starts in about 5 hours. Dunno why, but for some reason I’m not really excited.
I wish I could paint like Flingling.
RIP Bubba.

Well, I finally got the IP to Nation plugin working after figuring out vague instructions and realizing that IP to Country just doesn’t like me. As a result, phpMyAdmin has fried my brain, and all I can think about now is the sweet release of sleep. Or something. Night!
By the way, if you make a comment (hint hint) you’ll be able to see IP to Nation in action ![]()

*sigh* Taylor has ruined his beautiful hair and allowed it to grow into a mullet. I don’t care if he kinda looks kinda like MacGyver — he needs a frickin’ haircut
I got The Juliana Theory tickets for Sunday! Yay. And besides taking my biology lab exam earlier which sucked because breathing formaldehyde for two hours is not fun (not to mention the written part), nothing else interesting has happened.
