Meh. Busy day … 9 hours of class. Almost fell asleep in art history, but lab was entertaining despite its 3-hour duration (we got to anesthetize fruit flies and see planaria). Ran into Meghan after lunch and found out that she and Josh are no longer engaged — she caught him screwing her best friend while they were on a break but technically still together (plus some other drama) … man. She has so much going on in her life right now with school, work, and DG … if it were me I’d frickin’ drop out. Got annoyed in computer graphics ’cause I accidentally overwrote my final Illustrator file with an earlier version, so I had to stay an extra half hour and re-do my work. If only my iMac would automatically show file thumbnails … and I kept better track of which file’s which
March 16th marks the first meeting of the new JMU electronic (techno music) club run by DJ Maskell. I’m so there.
I’ve been locked out of my online CommonWealth One account for the umpteenth time. WTF. I guess that’s a good thing as I don’t remember my password and having them reset it will make it all better … but then again, having to call them (and stupid Cingular ’cause my charger should’ve been here today) will cost money on the room phone.
I hate being stuck here on “holidays” when other people are out having fun. Not like I really celebrate Mardi Gras, but still … my taste for alcohol is growing (and I miss Brian). 5 1/2 months …

This is from Meghan, and when I read it I just started laughing:
Snow really needs to have better timing. So far, it’s snowed only on weekends, and has been clear enough for school to be open. Quite frankly, that’s just not fair. As Lindsey put it: “snow is timid. If I were snow, and I heard someone talking shit about me, I’d be like, fuck you, now I’m not coming.” So a big thank you to whoever hurt the snow’s feelings.
LOL
It got up to 60 today … it was really nice. Aside from taking the bus to art with all my stuff, I walked everywhere.
On a side note, my comment settings got changed again. I don’t frickin’ get it — my other blog has the exact same settings, and it’s been fine. Blah. Stupid comment spam ![]()

Well this weekend was interesting. Spent the night at Brian’s on Friday after making dinner and brownies, which was nice. Saturday, we watched a lot of TV, then I drove home to have dinner with my dad and Ross, who was home for a long weekend. Then I spent 3 hours (and 2 today) working on this stupid art project that consisted of filling in hundreds of overlapping shapes with paint (kinda like paint by number) — and paint is my least favorite medium. So that sucked, especially when Brian called around 1 am to tell me he was really drunk and going to bed. I was surprised since he hadn’t done that in awhile (and knows I don’t like it) … but is refusing a drink that hard? I mean, going out and having fun is fine … I just wish I could be a part of it (which rarely happens). Stupid not being 21 for another 6 months. And I know I shouldn’t get upset, but I do *sigh* Why am I always so moody?
I saw a kitty on the median of 81 tonight — it was sad because it almost ran out in front of me, and it was really hard to not pull over and take it home. I guess it knows how to cross highways since it was in the middle, but still … only homeless cats hang out there. I hope no one hits him
I also forgot my phone charger at home, and since there are no Cingular stores (or any store that would carry the right kind of charger) here, I decided to suck it up and buy one online. I found a travel charger with 1 - 2 day shipping for $40, which isn’t cheap, but oh well … the room phone sucks and having a second charger is probably a good idea. Hopefully I’ll have it by Tuesday.

Everyone sign the Million for Marriage petition for equality — they’re halfway there so far.

I added long-overdue links to my Atom and RSS feeds (see below in the footer). Hopefully they work …
I got rid of Trillian a few days ago ’cause I was tired of not being able to click on links in people’s profiles, and I’m pretty sure Gaim doesn’t let you do that either. So now I’m back to using AIM for Windows 95 — I don’t need the picture sharing and other crap they put in the new version. Blah.
Haha: I Ate iPod Shuffle.
Okay, I’m confused … the reason I got so much comment spam recently was because my comment settings had been magically erased, with “666″ set for the number of links a comment can have before going to the queue. Um … anybody know what happened? Did someone get into my admin panel?

WTF? I got a 59% on my bio mini-exam (and the real exams are harder). I had no idea I did that bad … I was expecting a B or C *sigh* Why can’t I ever do well on tests? I mean, I knew I missed some questions, but geez, a 59? I think I’ll be hitting up his office hours … which are at 9 am tomorrow ![]()

I decided to skip art today, and the 3 more hours of sleep I got felt so nice. I also didn’t wanna sit in the room for 2 hours trying to paint while coughing and wanting to go back to bed (and Monday wasn’t that great). I’ll just do my cartoon collage over the weekend, and then everything should be fine.
I’ve started looking at places to live next year. First I talked to another rising junior about an apartment, but she sounded too hyper and girly for me. Next I emailed this guy Owen about a house 5 minutes from campus, and he sounds nice and likes the music I like … the only drawback is there’s 1 bathroom for 3 people and no phone or TV (yet)
Still, I might go look at it. Amanda told me you can rent individual rooms in certain apartment complexes — Sunchase looks good except they don’t frickin’ have the prices on their site. It’s hard finding people to live with who aren’t all about partying and drama.
The official weather-predicting groundhog saw his shadow today and therefore predicted 6 more weeks of winter. Don’t know if I should be excited or not.
