Back it up, spring classes.
Monday, November 1, 2004 @ 4:00 pm Blogging Pro just informed me of a new plugin that isn’t really a plugin: one click backup of WordPress files and database. I tried it, and after making a few HTML and syntax tweaks, I now have a backup of both my WordPress blogs — even though I only installed it for this one. It’s not a bad thing, just something to take note of if you have WordPress installed in more than one directory and don’t want to be surprised.
What else is new? Let’s see … my labyrinth paper due this Friday got moved to Monday, I paid my $0.88 phone bill, my dad finally mailed my Visa stuff and a rebate check somehow addressed to me (yay … money … no more $8 in my bank account!), and I have a statistics test next week. I should also figure out what classes I’m taking next semester, as I don’t have a whole lot of choice with my major becoming questionable, and so on. Here’s what I need to finish my gen-ed requirements:
1. Biology, chemistry, geology, or physics with a lab (like GEOL 200: Evolutionary Systems … which will probably fill up ’cause there’s only 12 spaces left
2. Geology or physics without a lab (like PHYS 220: Astronomy … which isn’t offered any more? WTF?)
But … that’s all I need to do gen-ed-wise, meaning I have to take like two art courses. Um, no. How about pre-med stuff … *checks catalog* … that could work, as the recommended classes include biology, chemistry, physics, and various credit hours of English and math, which I don’t have except for statistics. Maybe I should change my major to only pre-med … then again, maybe not, as you have to go through all these steps and signatures and what’s the point if I’m not coming back in the fall?
