Welcome to my life.
Friday, October 15, 2004 @ 11:07 am I saw Simple Plan’s “Welcome To My Life” video on MTV2 this morning and suddenly realized how much I can relate to it:
Do you ever feel like breaking down
Do you ever feel out of place
Like somehow you just don’t belong
And no one understands you
Do you ever wanna run away
Do you lock yourself in your room
With the radio on turned up so loud
But no one hears you screaming
No you don’t know what it’s like
When nothing feels alright
You don’t know what it’s like
To be like me
To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked when you’re down
To feel like you’ve been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
But no one’s there to save you
No you don’t know what it’s like
Welcome to my life
Do you wanna be somebody else
Are you sick of feeling so left out
Are you desparate to find something more
Before your life is over
Are you stuck inside a world you hate
Are you sick of everyone around
With their big fake smiles and stupid lies
Well deep inside you’re bleeding …
Oh yeah, and it’s fall break. The workers are here, my fan still doesn’t work, and I’m in the basement putting endless songs on iTunes and fixing the PC. I’m randomly sneezing ’cause of the cats, but it’s not as bad as it could be. I dropped animation yesterday — online, which I didn’t know you could do — and it feels weird only taking four classes, but oh well, it should be worth it.
And for court? I didn’t think I got a break at first (my dad said the judge didn’t listen to me), but then my receipt said it wasn’t sent to DMV, which is good … so I guess in a few months I’ll have to ask for my record and see what’s up.
