Evil little bubbles.

This is why I need to stop drinking Coke — I was fine last week until the two free Cokes came with the pizza on Sunday. My stomach’s all twisty and turny now … blah. And I’m tired. WTF?

Went to student organization night tonight, and joined 3 clubs! Well, technically I was in Artscene last year, just never went to any meetings. But the next one’s on Wednesday (conveniently during the fire drill), so I’m gonna go to that — we’re making name tag thingies. And SFFG (Science Fiction/Fantasy Guild) was tonight … it was interesting. I recognized one or two people from classes, and basically we were introduced to Madicon, Feast (kinda like Renn Faire), and all the crazy returning members. Even though I didn’t know half of what they were talking about, a few were like me, so I think it’ll be good. Just dunno about the whole Feast thing ’cause I’m not a big LARP person … guess I’ll decide in October. The last club I joined was the outing club, but was sad ’cause they’d crossed skydiving off their list *sniff* With Trap not going at all this year, what am I gonna do?

And to close the evening, someone set the fire alarm off while I was in the shower. After figuring out what the weird noise was that I could barely hear, I ran outside soaking wet in a towel. Granted, we were only out for like 15 minutes — during which Sarah came up to me saying my misfortune just made her day — but oh well. It wasn’t too cold, it was funny, everyone was going “aww look at her” … and now I’m back here just randomly blogging with an icky feeling in my stomach. Yeah. It’s almost bedtime.

I’m stupid.

Music hates me. Soulseek connects but won’t find any files. Xnap is impossible with Windows, and in my desperation I tried Limewire and Kiwi Alpha. The result? Guess. Nothing except spyware. Guess what else? Norton won’t remove the files, and Ad-Aware found thirty-some critical ones when just a few days ago it found zero *sigh* Now I’m looking for MP3s online. Is new music too much to ask?

Why are the good wallpaper images on Google always broken?

I’m contemplating getting up at 6 am for UREC … watch that not happen.

Still don’t know what I’m doing with my weekend. Driving 150 miles tomorrow makes me wanna cringe.

Work, Waking Life.

Funny how I didn’t know that John Kerry’s daughter was speaking today — usually stuff like that is plastered all over campus. Oh well.

Just got done with lunch … had a vanilla raspberry parfait and read for stat. Before that I spent like three hours in animation, which was okay … just really, really long. I never knew how complicated a 3D head and lips could be. I think I did an extra step, so I had this weird thing going on until I decided to make a tongue. Hopefully he won’t notice/care. For Tuesday I have to get to a certain step number and go through another movie. Bah. Since I might be seeing Brian this weekend, I’m thinking about canceling UREC again to go to the tutors tonight. I have that human rights article for Monday too.

What to do … I have an hour to kill before art history. I really hope I did that essay right and that the question online wasn’t just an example. Grr for accidentally skipping class the day he assigns that and goes over the first paper. Maybe Sarah will let me look at her notes.

I saw Waking Life at Doron’s on Tuesday, which was an amazing movie and something I’ll be adding to my list of DVDs to buy. Go see it.

Perfect timing.

So here I am, sitting in TDU, and the TV above me is on NBC. Random commercials are playing, and all of a sudden I hear “Hanson.” I look up, and apparently today’s show of Ellen is the one with Hanson. Granted, it’s a repeat, but still — I never bother to watch Hanson on TV anymore since someone almost always puts it online … and then the one day when I’m in the right place at the right time, without trying, I have class. WTF. Know what’s scary? Daniel Radcliffe (who’s on Regis & Kelly now) reminds me of Taylor. As does the punk guy here who’s always on his laptop. On that note, go watch Hanson’s new video, Lost Without Each Other.

The new layout is almost done. It looks like crap on this computer, but oh well … I just need to fix the graphic. What do you think? The CSS is valid too.
