K, really frickin’ tired, but wanted to write a little post before bed.

Brian’s birthday surprise turned out to be spending all day at an airshow — got a 15-minute aerobatic (loops, spins, rolls) ride in a biplane, then watched planes, people, and props do crazy things for an hour and a half. I just wish I’d brought my sunglasses and sun lotion … my eyes and skin hurt afterwards, but oh well, I’ll feel better in a couple days. Just put some aloe vera gel on, which helped a little … I even think my nose stopped oozing.

Didn’t do anything yesterday … slept ’til 2, did a little shopping, went to bed early. LOL.

Friday night was DJ Tiesto at Nation, which rocked. Got there at 9 (when the doors opened) so we could secure a parking space, and then found out Tiesto wouldn’t be playing ’til 1. Great. But somehow we managed to stay busy for 4 hours by drinking, chilling, and dancing. Plus, once the main room opened at 11 and we found a good place to stand, we basically had to stay there despite the crazy pushing, shoving, heat, and rude people … but Tiesto was worth it By 3ish we were beyond tired, so we drove back half-asleep, stopped at Denny’s for breakfast, and then passed out.

And that’s my weekend in a nutshell. Night.
