*sigh* I just wanna fall asleep and wait ’til it’s all over.
Today sucks you knew it would …
Haven’t booked any estimates, everyone wants to get frickin’ other estimates, I hate waiting, no one’s home, I’m running out of leads, I feel dizzy and blah ’cause it’s “that time,” and I’m just plain frustrated
Plus, everyone’s away messages are up and are probably out having fun (i.e., MACRoCK, clubbing, shopping), while I’m stuck here trying — and failing — to make money and progress with my “business.” I swear, once this is over, I’m never gonna take weekends for granted again.
Well, back to marketing … and estimate four at 6 …
Edit: Nevermind, he canceled. Great. What ELSE do you suppose I can do wrong today? *cries* I wanna go back to JMU … namely Ashby …

Aw, Shayne gave me a stuffed bunny for our two-month anniversary/Easter
Too bad I left it in his car, though, since Meghan drove me to class. Hope she’s okay. But ah well, I’ll just get it Sunday night. Well, I’m off to deliver 7 pre-estimate packages … more updates later!

My surprise of the day … from Brian’s blog:
Anyway, my wife is calling me to bed, so I’m off for now.
Umm … wtf? Good for him? Estoy confused. Oh I get it, April Fool’s Day?
I hate calling referrals. They don’t know who you are, think you’re a solicitor, and I suck at staying away from that stereotype. At least I set up an estimate for Sunday, and finally left messages with the rest of my mystery leads. Tomorrow I need to buy thank-you cards, make confirmation calls, and distribute pre-estimate packages … maybe even add more contents since they’re pretty pathetic right now. But who knows, I don’t have a copier at home, the one at 7-11 sucks, and wouldn’t have time to go to my dad’s office. Maybe I’ll stop by my car later for my client manual, and spend an hour at the library tonight. If I don’t end up going on Shayne and Howard’s road trip to drill, that is.
Speaking of Shayne, I need him to do something to the weather so it doesn’t rain this weekend lol. It’s been raining all week, I’m sick of it, and plus, people are generally depressed, which equals bad moods during estimates. It’s also kinda hard to hold an umbrella, a binder, and a pen, while keeping the essentials mostly dry and booking on the spot.
Ooh, one failed auction won’t keep me from trying again
And Shayne just bid on a sword. Nice.
