Man, I can never win. My DSA stuff came today (finally), but the shirt is too small (they ran out of mediums). Funny how my medium Linkin Park and Good Charlotte shirts are a little big yet DSA’s small is basically suffocating me. WTF … I should’ve gotten a refund. The autographed poster is authentic, though — yay! I now have a DSA collectible, and the CDs not bad either ![]()

Fuck. So my choker apparently got lost in the mail — gc_punkgothgurl666 swears it was shipped February 10th. Stupid eBay or Paypal or whatever, and just my luck that none of the items are left, so all I can really do is get a refund, which wouldn’t be fair since we both have no control over the mail. Guess I’ll just suck it up and keep looking
Colds suck … in the last minute I’ve sneezed like 3 times. Make that 4.
There was snow on the ground this morning. I was like wtf. Winter is freakin’ over — stop teasing me and break out the hot weather already.
In good news, my hair is still dark/black and I dyed it over a month ago … and the package said the color would last for 24 shampoos (24 days for me). Rock.

My eyes are about to fall out, but I’m still blogging. Saw Brian and Brad today, which was a rare combination. I also got 5 leads, but that’s besides the point. And I think I’m getting Shayne’s cold … either that or I’m allergic to cats
Anyway, yeah, saw Brian. Bought his PS2 for $150, and now have 2 games that I don’t want: Top Gun and Mortal Kombat. Any takers? We also just sat and talked, which was nice ’cause we hadn’t really done that since January. I just hope he starts eating regularly and sleeping enough soon … it’s hard to believe that my absence can do that
Later on I went to Brad’s to hang out with him and Jai. We were trying to get a bunch of people together to go see Dawn of the Dead, but no one was answering their phone, so we just ended up watching TV, namely the end of The Three Muskateers, 1 1/2 hours of Robin Williams on HBO, and the last half of Jaws, which I’d only seen parts of. That shark is so mechanical
All in all, it was a good night, even though I didn’t get to swing by Tysons to see Shaune or pick up my dad and Ross like I’d planned earlier. But hey, there’s always next weekend
And now I need sleep ’cause I have a headache and gotta be up in less than 5 hours ![]()

Man, Staples knows how to do business — I ordered a new tape dispenser yesterday and it came today. Too bad my eBay choker and DSA merch can’t do that
I went to Wal-Mart last night at like 2 am and got shampoo, conditioner, the Rolling Stone issue with Hanson, and Atkins bars … they don’t taste the greatest, but they’re a better breakfast than Nutri-Grain bars, Diet Coke, and junk food. Next time I’m gonna get the shakes.
So I picked up a copy of the Breeze today, and to my surprise it came with a Wal-Mart CD full of music, music videos, movies, and video games. My favorite songs so far are “Silhouettes” by Smile Empty Soul and “Pass Me By” by Pete Yorn — go download them. Funny how the CDs requirements list 256 MB RAM, yet I only have 192. Guess that’s for the games.
I got an A+ on my 2nd English essay. Wow. The paper that takes me the least time to write earns the best grade. Interesting.
I don’t wanna live like my mother
I don’t wanna let fear rule my life
And I don’t wanna live like my father
I don’t wanna give up before I die …

Haha, this’ll definitely be interesting. From Shaune’s journal:
MTV’s “The Real World” was originally supposed to have been relocating to Washington, DC for the upcoming season, but as they may have realized, finding a descent place to rent in a good part of town is pretty damn near impossible in the district! Because of this, they decided to opt for a pad in suburban ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA, in the Clarendon neighborhood, which is about two metro stops away from the city. Crazy, huh?So to all the Virginia haters out there, fuck you all! Our southern fried asses are going to be on MTV!
If you’ve been living under a rock for some time, I used to live in Arlington, now live about 10 minutes away, and still go there occasionally to visit. I wonder what house they’re gonna choose.
I went to check my mail today, and surprise, surprise, my choker and DSA stuff were still MIA. Does it really take more than a month to mail something from within the US? But what was even more surprising was that someone bought me a 2-year subscription to YM magazine. WTF? I don’t even read YM, I’ve never had a subscription before, and have no clue whatsoever as to who would spend money on that for me. I’m thinking about calling the company later to see what’s up … I mean, that magazine is for like 14-year-olds, maybe they made a mistake?
Speaking of mistakes … I’ve made some serious “grade mistakes” … we went over my history midterm today, and I got a 29 (out of 100). Ouch. Luckily, half the class got D’s and F’s, so the professor is being awesome and not counting the grade if we score 8 points higher (individually) on the final. I’m so there … as in not failing. I also got an 82 on my paper … I was expecting higher, but oh well. B’s are fine, and history can go to hell for all I care.
As a result, my midterm grades are as follows:
- psychology: C-
- business: N/A
- history: C-
- sociology: N/A
- English: B+
*cringes* That’s worse than last semester. I need to study more — the psych grade sucks ’cause of my test scores, and I barely did anything for history. I should be fine in business, but don’t even wanna know about sociology
At least my English is still holding up?

LOL! I just discovered that my dad has Clay Aiken’s CD … and likes it. How funny is that? My dad’s turning into a teenybopper ![]()

I really don’t wanna go marketing. No one’s gonna be home, Jed’s gonna be pissed ’cause I didn’t get any leads yesterday and didn’t go back to the direct marketing houses, and was only out for 2 hours. I slept in too late today, it’s already 2 and I’m not ready … and tomorrow morning I gotta get up at 5 am to be in Charlottesville by 9 *sigh* This whole painting thing isn’t as great as everyone makes it out to be. I want my vacation back.
I just wanna lay around all day and draw. It’s rainy out, cold, and I found two inspiring galleries on deviantART: kittynn and stOOpidgErl.
Saw “The Passion of the Christ” last night with Shayne … man. There wasn’t much of a plot, but it was definitely graphic. I didn’t quite know what to expect, but it was moving … don’t know how the special effects/makeup people pulled it off.
I can’t wait to go back to JMU … where Shayne’s 5 minutes away and I don’t have to worry about stupid CWP. Well, yeah, I do, but not to the point where I feel guilty if I don’t work on it all my waking hours. Speaking of which, I should probably go get ready for another unproductive day …
