Hanson bliss.

Arrow Thursday, February 5, 2004 @ 5:49 pm

OMG … the studio version of Hanson’s “Penny & Me” is awesome … I’m like in awe. Go download it! They’re also releasing dates for their 2004 tour — they better come here on a weekend

I see right through to you.

Arrow Wednesday, February 4, 2004 @ 10:43 pm

Chapelle’s Show is great, lol. Both Shayne and Jessica love it

And g2g soon and finish my reading for English and history, but first wanted to say how weird, yet good, it feels to finally be with someone that you connect with on so many levels (especially spiritually). Shayne and I have so much in common it’s scary, and being with him for 3 hours always seems like 3 minutes. I dunno what’s going on, or how or why, but we’re both happier than we’ve been in a long time. It’s crazy … and I don’t want it to stop.

Second semester: yay and nay.

Arrow Wednesday, February 4, 2004 @ 3:47 pm

Fuck — the first week of March is gonna be hell for me. Stupid teachers not communicating like they did in high school lol. I guess if I plan stuff right, I should be okay *sigh*

Aw my business professor is cute — she uses the little half-sized Asian staples  She can also predict snow days pretty well. She was right about yesterday, and says we’re getting more white stuff on Friday. Score.

I’m so addicted to JMUspot. It’s like a Hot or Not message board party calendar thing … yay. It’s where I found out about the “rock party” this weekend, even though I dunno if I’m going. Man so much stuff is happening so fast. This is crazy … but I guess that’s college for ya?

K, don’t like pysch anymore … got a 68 on the test. But guess I should’ve studied for more than a half hour

Digital getdown.

Arrow Wednesday, February 4, 2004 @ 1:54 pm

Nice, Meghan (Josh’s girlfriend) is in psych with me. This is awesome, now I have my choice of three study partners: her, Josh (not hers), and Jessica  I guess Shayne could be too, since psych is one of his majors. Yay.

Man, today is off to a good start. Saw John at Warren and talked to him for a few minutes. Definitely gotta have lunch or something with him again. Then I got a chicken wrap at Dukes and the server lady said she liked my faerie shirt ’cause it reminded her of when she was my age lol. I was like yeah, rock on.

Oh yeah, and yesterday I spent my 185,000-some DC101 Insider points on a digital camera raffle — that adds up to 62 entries. If that doesn’t get me somewhere, Insider sucks and I’m done with it haha.

And does anyone know anyone who’s a graphic designer? If so, tell me, ’cause I need to interview one for my English paper draft due Friday and the people I’ve emailed so far haven’t responded.

This is the coolest thing ever — I want one, and it’s only like $500. How is that possible? PC Magazine is my new hero

Eh.

Arrow Wednesday, February 4, 2004 @ 12:05 pm

Yeah, definitely can’t tell my RA and her twin apart lol. I ran into Sophie at Festival, and was like wait, this is confusing  But it’s all good, she understands.

Didn’t do much today except download songs, have lunch with Doron, hang out with Shayne, and do homework. Granted, the homework part didn’t happen ’til 10 and still isn’t over, but it’s in there. Speaking of which, after I post this, I need to get ready for bed and study for psych. But since that shouldn’t take long, sleep isn’t too far away. Yay.

And that was a really dull post.

Snow day.

Arrow Tuesday, February 3, 2004 @ 11:37 am

Yay, snow day! I tried to sleep past 7 when I randomly woke up (alarm was set for 8) , but couldn’t. I remember having some dream about boots and a guy with a LPU shirt before really getting up at 10:30, but tossing and turning was definitely the morning’s highlight. Blah. Really hope my English paper is postponed ’til next week.

On the fence.

Arrow Monday, February 2, 2004 @ 11:01 pm

Well, the Sugarcult concert isn’t so much of a certainty anymore. I got a ride back (my dad), but no ride there … and Jessica’s not sure if she wants to go anymore ’cause she has an exam at 8 the following morning. Blah. But oh well, I’m sure (hope) they’ll come again sometime. Stupid Sunday concerts

In other news … the whole Janet Jackson Superbowl thing? Had no idea until Doron and DC101 clued me in. Bet the whole stadium was whistling lol.

Aww, and today I learned that Shayne’s lyrics below were written for me — never had a full-fledged song before  Speaking of him, he and Shaune are talking again, and that’s just yay. I even got to catch up with her on the phone, which was nice ’cause we definitely don’t talk as much as should. Gotta get on that. Also need to see what’s new with Kristen.

It’s weird, I’m suddenly happier than I have been in the recent past, yet whenever I read Brian’s blog this wave of guilt passes over me, like I need to make everything better or else something terrible will happen. And half of me wants to, but the other half looks back on all the bad times and things my friends have said and dominates my conscience, which I’m starting to believe is for the best. I mean, who knows what’ll happen in the future … but right now I’m straddling the line between depression and happiness, and the latter definitely feels better. I’m so glad my few friends have stuck with me through everything — without them I’d be lost. Just gotta keep remembering:

Shayne: Be happy hun …
Shayne: I know this is gonna be a rough period …
Shayne: But i’m here for you …
Shayne: And you know I’ll always be good to you
