GBUS rocks.

Arrow Friday, January 16, 2004 @ 7:46 am

Another reason my GBUS professor is awesome: she canceled class today, so I’m done at 11. I mean, it sucks that she’s sick, but still, who isn’t happy about no class? Now I’ll have time to go to CVS.

Anyway, off to GHIST …

Bad timing.

Arrow Thursday, January 15, 2004 @ 6:40 pm

I’m really feeling LP right now, and I feel like crap. Just ate 2 grilled cheeses, cheesecake, and 2 M&M cookies … when at 3 I had white hot chocolate, chips, and Combos. Blah … and now it’s too late for boxing, so today’s just all gone to hell, especially since I get to spend the rest of the night doing laundry, reading, packing (maybe), and showering somewhere in between. Shayne even invited me over for pizza with all his people, but I had to decline ’cause I just ate and have stuff to do  Why must I always have bad timing? Stupid everything.

Hate reading, hata drama.

Arrow Thursday, January 15, 2004 @ 12:13 pm

Well that was a total waste of time. I spent 2 hours trying to read, but kept falling asleep, and only got like 10 pages over with. How pathetic is that? So I just said screw it and read the chapter’s summary. I still have GWRIT to read, but dunno if that’s happening tonight … I’m so ready for sleep, but dunno what Brian’s up to, so gotta wait for him.

Plus, as far as I can tell, Shaune isn’t being that great of a friend to Shayne … actually, he had to find out from Will (not her at first) that she didn’t want to speak to or hear from him again. Hmm, sounds familiar. Kinda like how Brian wants me to be with Brad, and from his perspective I’m realizing how much it sucks. I don’t get Shaune sometimes. Like everything seemed great when we were all hanging out, then it goes to hell. So she did make out with Shayne last night, and though I’ve made the mistake too, I’ve learned my lesson. I dunno … he’s just cool and I hate seeing (potential) friends go through drama like this *sigh* I dunno. Today was eh. Tomorrow will probably be more eh, with 2 classes back-to-back starting at 8:25 am and an intense cycling class before GSOCI. Blah.

Aw, no meet and greet.

Arrow Wednesday, January 14, 2004 @ 1:03 am

The Fairfax Linkin Park meet & greet is full  Guess I should’ve checked the forums for the exact time of the pop-up, but oh well … I’m still seeing them, and that’s all that matters.

Edit: Aww, but Matt and Megan did get meet & greets — no fair! Why didn’t his LPU screw up like mine and so many other people’s? I checked like Monday night and late Tuesday morning, and he checked Tuesday morning and just made it. Estoy jealous. GRR

Playlist feature.

Arrow Tuesday, January 13, 2004 @ 8:05 pm

New feature: the last songs I listened to are now automatically listed underneath the “Right Now” section in “Playlist” — yay! Props to BlogAmp for making it happen.

And now I’m out — Shaune really called me (wow) while I was watching one of Jessica’s former teachers win on Jeopardy, so I’ll be hanging out with her and Jen and whoever else for a couple hours. Adios

Back after break.

Arrow Monday, January 12, 2004 @ 10:10 pm

Bah riding meeting tomorrow. Wonder if I should go, since I’m technically abandoning lessons this semester. And grr, the showers here just had to de-awesomize themselves by having sucky water pressure, which is what I’m most picky about.

LOL, it’s only 10:05 and Jessica’s going to bed. Funny. But she claims it’s only a temporary, getting-back-into-the-scheme-of-things thing. Yeah. Only time will tell.

Oh cool, Shaune’s coming tomorrow, and I might actually see her this time.

Why does my computer freeze every single time I restart? It didn’t before I installed my Belkin mouse … wtf.

Start of second semester.

Arrow Monday, January 12, 2004 @ 8:32 pm

Okay … back at JMU and finally moved in. My wall still needs work, though … the AP magazine just didn’t do it lol. But oh well, I’ll slowly acquire stuff. And Garber’s showers are awesome: they’re twice as big as Hillside’s, have like a mini tub thing, and look like the stalls, which equals more privacy. I was like score.

I saw Jessica’s friend Matt as I was walking to CommonWealth earlier today, except I didn’t know it was him at the time. I was like hey, is that who she was talking about? But I stand corrected — he doesn’t have a mohawk yet, just green hair. But I definitely wanna be there when he goes under her knife

Umm, what else … finally got a check holder for my checkbook, re-applied for overdraft protection since the first time was a dud, got my books, got my package (the shirt’s sheer, which is kinda weird … and fuck, now it’s only $9.95 — I paid $19.50!), and got $20 in quarters for laundry  Tomorrow I need to put money on my Flex account. And why aren’t my $225 dining dollars active yet?

Classes were okay … so far there’s no less than 100 people in each. What did I have at 8 … can’t remember. GPSYC at 10:10 was eh, Jessica and I got there 5 minutes early and had to sit in the second to last row, way far away. That’s definitely gotta change ’cause I couldn’t see the PowerPoint. The professor was also annoying — he didn’t talk loud enough and kept us past the class ending time. I was so falling asleep. But GBUS (at 12:20) is my favorite so far. The professor was nice and interesting and kept talking about how much she liked TV  Then she told us 5 weird facts about her, the best being something like “guys need to remember this ultimate order when giving gifts: jewelry, shoes, purses.” Got that, Brian? She and her husband are also both twins, both the youngest, and both born 4 minutes apart from their sister/brother … scary. Oh yeah, I had GHIST this morning — it was okay. Two girls from my former hall are in it and the professor’s fine (not extremely good or bad), so it should be an alright class.

Anyway, my Canada post will come later tonight if I don’t get wrapped up in something else … ’cause now it’s shower time. See ya.
