Okay … back at JMU and finally moved in. My wall still needs work, though … the AP magazine just didn’t do it lol. But oh well, I’ll slowly acquire stuff. And Garber’s showers are awesome: they’re twice as big as Hillside’s, have like a mini tub thing, and look like the stalls, which equals more privacy. I was like score.
I saw Jessica’s friend Matt as I was walking to CommonWealth earlier today, except I didn’t know it was him at the time. I was like hey, is that who she was talking about? But I stand corrected — he doesn’t have a mohawk yet, just green hair. But I definitely wanna be there when he goes under her knife
Umm, what else … finally got a check holder for my checkbook, re-applied for overdraft protection since the first time was a dud, got my books, got my package (the shirt’s sheer, which is kinda weird … and fuck, now it’s only $9.95 — I paid $19.50!), and got $20 in quarters for laundry
Tomorrow I need to put money on my Flex account. And why aren’t my $225 dining dollars active yet?
Classes were okay … so far there’s no less than 100 people in each. What did I have at 8 … can’t remember. GPSYC at 10:10 was eh, Jessica and I got there 5 minutes early and had to sit in the second to last row, way far away. That’s definitely gotta change ’cause I couldn’t see the PowerPoint. The professor was also annoying — he didn’t talk loud enough and kept us past the class ending time. I was so falling asleep. But GBUS (at 12:20) is my favorite so far. The professor was nice and interesting and kept talking about how much she liked TV
Then she told us 5 weird facts about her, the best being something like “guys need to remember this ultimate order when giving gifts: jewelry, shoes, purses.” Got that, Brian?
She and her husband are also both twins, both the youngest, and both born 4 minutes apart from their sister/brother … scary. Oh yeah, I had GHIST this morning — it was okay. Two girls from my former hall are in it and the professor’s fine (not extremely good or bad), so it should be an alright class.
Anyway, my Canada post will come later tonight if I don’t get wrapped up in something else … ’cause now it’s shower time. See ya.
