Merry Christmas!

Arrow Thursday, December 25, 2003 @ 12:16 pm

Okay, the new e-campus sucks. It may look pretty or be easier to navigate or whatever, but its productivity is zero. I only updated one thing, then it refused to load any other pages. Grr. Does everything have to turn into a pumpkin at midnight?

In other news, I added 2 copies of a referrer script to the bottom right of this page — the first one runs on my site, the second on the host site. I’m trying to see if mine works, ’cause I don’t tend to have a lot of luck with CGI scripts. On the other hand, if anyone’s bored and can tell me how I’m doing on my version without me having to wait for 2 actual referrals, please let me know

Oh, and Merry Christmas! I get to open presents promptly at 10

Bored post.

Arrow Wednesday, December 24, 2003 @ 3:08 pm

The Calling’s new video for Stigmatized is cool yet really intriguing … I like the special effects.

And wow, this is rare … I’m bored. I’m done wrapping presents, already got lotion and my Snowshoe pictures from CVS, done decorating the house, and the dishwasher is still going. Maybe I should start on those to-do list tasks I’ve had up for months. I dunno, as soon as Uncle Chris and Mary are done wrapping and Ross is done with whatever he’s doing, we’re playing scrabble. Apparently Aunt Ann and Ed got to the hotel around 2, and are bringing Grandpa and Mary (and Dad?) back to the house with them in couple hours so we can start on dinner. I guess there’s only an hour or two of free time … what to do.

Nothing’s ever perfect.

Arrow Wednesday, December 24, 2003 @ 3:01 am

Oww, I hurt  No matter what medicine or pills I take, the pain won’t completely go away *cries* Why do I always have to get sick around Christmas? Just when everything seems perfect and everyone’s here and I’m really getting in the holiday spirit, this has to come along and put a damper on all of that. It also doesn’t help that I can’t really sleep in tomorrow … dunno what time Aunt Ann and Ed are coming, and with Brian time severely limited and CVS Photo opening at 10, 9 sounds like an okay goal. But who knows if it’ll actually be reached.

Oh yeah, and a guy named Patrick Rainey is coming on the Quebec trip. If it’s the same Patrick Rainey I knew in elementary school (and had a crush on lol), I’ll be like eep? All of a sudden I’m seeing these people I haven’t for years, and it’s weird.

Pre-Christmas thoughts.

Arrow Monday, December 22, 2003 @ 3:42 am

Wow, my LPU email finally works. Took them what, 3 weeks? LOL oh well, they were having server issues.

Just read Shaune’s blog, and to make a long story short, she’s still getting guys after being single for a week. Wish I could do that. Actually, I don’t — she blew me off to make out with some guy in a graveyard. Should I even have gotten her a present?

Speaking of which, I got my first Christmas present today: “sun-ripened raspberry body lotion” from Bath & Body Works and a cool curved picture frame from the Brindles. Was thinking about putting Snowshoe pictures in that once I get them developed.

Not sure if Uncle Chris and Mary are coming tomorrow night or Tuesday, but if it’s tomorrow, I’m so not ready. Let’s see, tomorrow I have to: wrap presents, mail Grandma’s present, pick up Brian’s last present, and decorate all before late afternoon. Great. I know it doesn’t sound bad, but with getting to bed tonight around 5, it is.

No more midget tree.

Arrow Saturday, December 20, 2003 @ 9:26 pm

OMG, our new tree is so much awesomer than the dinky little 5-foot tree that LL Bean gave us — it touches the ceiling. Score. Too bad I can’t find the ornaments or lights box. But never order trees from them. They say it’ll be 5 - 6 feet tall, but don’t tell you that includes the stand. Grr. So glad my dad got a new one.

Now I have to decide between making my way-overdue skydiving fanlisting, wrapping presents, or hunting for Christmas decorations. Hmm.

Christmas is in the air.

Arrow Saturday, December 20, 2003 @ 3:44 am

Random updates: Todd has a cool new layout (and thanks for the tags), Doron can only take 4 classes next semester ’cause he got an F in math, and … can’t think of anything else, probably ’cause I’m tired. Need to change my webcam picture too.

Oh, and now my Christmas shopping is done — I forgot Erica, Shaune, and candy canes yesterday.

Starbucks’ eggnog latte doesn’t taste much different than regular coffee. Granted, I’ve never had a real eggnog before, but still, shouldn’t there be a noticeable flavor? Oh well, it was still good. And right before that I mailed my extra MOE 10 to Lauren, the girl who won it on eBay. Glad that’s taken care of. Now I just need to re-post my extra NSYNC No Strings Attached CD, and I’ll be set. Any cost suggestions?

Tomorrow is gonna be really busy: need to sleep in, fix Ross’s computer, wrap presents, help decorate this house, and clean/decorate Brian’s. Yay, I hope.

Shopping, allergies.

Arrow Friday, December 19, 2003 @ 3:42 am

Christmas shopping is done! Yay. Spent too much money, but yay anyway

And I’m still sneezing, it’s driving me crazy. Why does this keep happening randomly? Do the cats, like, give off some scent meant only for me and my allergies? Grr. Maybe they’ll be happier with the new collars I got — with bells! LOL.

Ow fingers hurt … I think I cut my nails too short  Also scraped my pinkie on Brian’s stairs earlier. But other than that and my sneezing, I’m alright.

Now it’d bedtime … just gotta put the presents away first. Adios.
