So I start reading my blog archives and all of a sudden it’s 5 am … blah. I’m still not tired … and Doron’s not answering me. I think he’s pissed ’cause I took too long to answer his IMs … he was like, I thought you were a close friend. Hope that doesn’t mean anything? I have no motivation to type, I can’t spell … I dunno. Maybe I shouldn’t stay up this late … or early, ’cause I feel all weird and gross … but that’s probably ’cause I had strawberries, toast, ice cream, like half a bag of chips, and yogurt when I got home
And now I feel sick … gah, why can’t I eat like a normal person?
Woah, it’s New Years Eve … why do I have to work tomorrow? Guess it doesn’t matter since I have nothing to do when the ball drops. Crap, that’s another reason I should sleep (work) … and the Sennetts are coming the next day. Man, time flies when you’re bored. I so need to pack or something … and I wish updating my sites (new layouts and editing links) didn’t take forever.
Blah I ran out of Kleenex (no more stand for my webcam) … I need rinse too.
And fuck, the gloss or whatever from my floor is coming off, and it’s frickin’ annoying — little flakes just keep randomly appearing, and vacuuming doesn’t help. Grr … why wasn’t my room done when the rest of the house was?

Wow, my Hostway inbox is empty … what a great feeling. Even though it’ll probably have mail in it when I check it again tonight, it’s currently empty. Score. And what am I gonna do for Quebec? I don’t wanna have like 100000 emails when I get back, but I don’t really wanna bother with bringing it. Blah.
Question: why is imood down? This is the first time in a very, very long while.
Oh yeah, and I didn’t get the Christmas fanlisting — it already exists. Apparently the webmaster thinks the “Holidays and Calendar Events” section under Miscellaneous doesn’t apply to it. I don’t understand some people.

Haha this is great — I bought $161 worth of stuff at Gap for $75.95. I love sales! Check it out: I got this, this, and something like this and this. I also got guys’ snowboard pants by accident (they were in the girls’ clearance section), but oh well. Maybe they’ll be good for skiing … and those cold walks across campus in the morning?
Man, gap.com has so been slacking recently … it may have the whole wintery feel, but the stores have more selection. The “exclusive online styles” aren’t anything I’d wear, either.

Well, my brother’s off to his first driving lesson with my dad. Wonder how that’ll go … and if he’ll get the same “egg-under-the-accelerator” talk that I did and make hundreds of circles in the Petsmart parking lot
I don’t even want to think about how he’ll manage learning stick, though, ’cause it was hell for me. If you think about it, it’s kinda scary how “this day” has finally come … lol, at least Kristen would make a big deal about that
Anyway, now I’m off for dinner with Brian and perhaps Gap shopping at Tysons if I don’t go to work with Dad. Adios.
Edit: Haha that’s funny! Ross got stopped by a cop while circling the Fairfax High School parking lot — one of the neighbors had seen him and called the cops, apparently thinking it suspicious. LOL.
As for work and Tysons? Scratch that out. Dad’s too tired to work, and can’t go to the mall ’cause it closed at 6, which I forgot about (stupid Sunday hours). But that’s okay, there’s always tomorrow.

You know those little “CD Extra” or advertising inserts that sometimes come with CDs? Well, tonight I decided I’d had enough of them, so I went through all my CDs and removed them … good feeling, lol. Plus, now when I open a “previously infected” case, I don’t have to worry about random bits of paper falling out. Score.
Anyway, now it’s Reader’s Digest (maybe) and sleep time. Bye!

No wonder my uncle got me the Nickel Creek CD — they sound just like his band lol, except the members are my age and not his. They’re pretty good, though … sound like a mix of Sister Hazel, Enya, and Leahy. Nice music to listen to before bed … or when you’re sad.
As for the other CDs I’ve listened to, Love Actually is good for those mellow/rainy days, and definitely something Natalie would like. It has bonus Christmas songs too. Rammstein’s “Herzeleid” is awesome — “Heirate Mich” (translation: “Marry Me”) is my favorite song at the moment. And Count The Stars’ “Never Be Taken Alive” isn’t bad, a mix of punk and emo.
I’m wearing the fleece from Brian’s parents right now since the house is cold, even though I just turned the heat up to 70 … it’s warm. Yay.

Well, my new mouse works (only after installing the drivers online and restarting 50 times … the diskette alone did nothing) … but I made my pointer black, which is cool. The small size takes some getting used to … I just hope it doesn’t hurt my hand too much or something. And I wish it showed the red optical light … but oh well. Couldn’t find one that did on Amazon. Bah! I keep using the touchpad instead of the mouse — bad squishy.
I made off like a bandit this year (in Brian’s words). Take a look:
Ross:
- plantPassion soap
Aunt Ann and Ed:
- stocking
- Count The Stars “Never Be Taken Alive”
- A Santa Cause (CD)
- Love Actually soundtrack
- laptop mouse
Uncle Chris and Mary:
- Nickel Creek “Nickel Creek”
- cow mousepad
- horse paperweight
Grandpa and Mary:
- $75 Gap gift card
- Love Actually soundtrack (duplicate: he gave me money for a different CD)
- A Very Special Christmas 3 (CD)
- Sounds Of The Season (to me, Ross, and Dad)
Grandma:
- LL Bean winter coat
- $50 Gap gift card
- beaded necklace and bracelet
- gift of 2 llamas to a needy family (to me, Ross, and Dad)
Brian:
- Good Charlotte poster
- Rammstein “Herzeleid”
- faerie shirt
- sapphire necklace
- pink fire pjs and slippers
- DDRMAX2 with pad (yay!)
> PS2 (that I have to share with him
)
Brian’s parents:
- gray Old Navy fleece
- engraved jewelry box
- heart charm bracelet
- stocking
Wow, could it be that the new mouse gets rid of my textarea scrolling problem in Blogger? Score.
And wtf, why am I still up? I’m not really tired for some reason, but I guess I should go to bed anyway … otherwise I’ll just like fall over early tomorrow night (and that would be bad). So yeah … adios.
