Spike failure.

Yeah I’m really supposed to be doing my GCOM paper … but hey, it’s only midnight, I still have half a bottle of Cherry Coke left and don’t have an 8 am — I’d say I’m still good! Though if Cheryl emails me back I’ll need to get up at 9 … but dunno what’s gonna happen to that since JMU mail started working again who knows how many hours ago.

But anyway, I haven’t written a *good* post in a few days, so here ya go … though I’m really just procrastinating … ooh I should go join more fanlistings! LOL j/k. Yeah.

So today: I’m gonna be boring and list what I did: got up at 7, trekked over to ISAT, sat through health and noticed that our new teacher is better, trekked back, checked mail, looked through the New Student Record … and though I saw a couple people from Arlington and Yorktown, I didn’t know anyone. Except I recognized a girl from my art class. Then I went to Taylor, got hot chocolate and a sticky bun, finished reading The Breeze, headed to GCOM, barely stayed awake through the last group presentation, went back to my dorm and did a combination of chat online, get lunch, mostly finish my Chandler drawing, and do a little web updating. Then was art, where everyone commented on how good my still-life drawing was, though I personally didn’t see what was so great … but hey, more power to me? *shrugs* Came back, saw that Eddie’d left me a message to meet him for dinner 20 minutes ago, so was late but it was okay ’cause I wasn’t really hungry and got to meet cool people (like the guy with green hair … and his roomie’s cooler than I thought). After that little meet and greet, we went to my room, got glue and freaked out Kara in the process, went to his room, tried to spike my hair — but failed. The glue wasn’t strong enough, so we said screw that and walked to CVS for hairspray with me feeling all weird with random limp spikes sticking out from my head — but it was fun! I so know people were thinking, umm wtf? We got this stuff called Rave 4X, and it worked, but only after using like half the can on one glue-soaked spike … and then figured we should just try again tomorrow when we had a comb and my hair was clean and unsticky. So yay! I’ll definitely post pictures.

After that, I just ventured back to Hillside, immediately took a shower to de-glue myself, chatted online, got dinner at the last minute, watched bits and pieces of the Yankees game, and talked to Brian … and now I’m here after writing out the questions for Cheryl and Jen once we get interview times worked out. See, I did some homework! And now … I’m off to do more GCOM after satisfying my blog craving

Up up and away!
