Wow awesome night. What started out as a few games of pool (I “won” 1 of 4 ) at TDU turned into over 8 hours of a modified sleepover.

After pool Doron and I got vending coffee at Wilson, walked back to White Hall, saw that Eddie was back so talked with him for a little bit, then played basketball for about an hour. What I’ve discovered is that he’s a lot like Ross (except shorter) … loves chess, good enough at basketball to coach 9-year-olds, and pretty skinny. We have a lot in common (our views on society and liking outdoors-y stuff), and he made me 2 CDs of awesome bands (Underworld and VNV) that I’ve never heard of. Score.

For Halloween he’s Eddie (and Eddie’s him), so watching them get dressed up was funny — especially Doron’s new Taxi Driver mohawk. After doing that and taking pictures and showing everyone online, Jessie (the girl who drove me to all the parties the night I met Eddie, and also his girlfriend) calls and soon comes over, drunk — according to her she had either 5 or 12 beers … can’t remember lol. So we talk to her ’til she wants to do her thing with Eddie, at which point I’m like, “heyyy Doron, what’s up?” LOL. At the end, we don’t get to “bed” ’til about 5:30 am, and for some reason I wasn’t tired, even though I’d woken up at 7 am the previous morning. I think I got literally 15 minutes of sleep after “waking up” at 7:30 to a frickin’ loud alarm. But it was worth it! Doron and I talked about random stuff forever, which was definitely a nice change from the meaningless babble of everyone else. He also kept saying it was the most comfortable night he’s had at JMU so far, and that he’s glad he met me … aw yay. Then he walked me back to Hillside, gave me a hug, and went on to class

WTF, I come back from anthropology to find that my ethernet card is broken, when before I left it was fine. I can still get it to work by holding the cable up with my stapler, but still, I’m pissed. This means that the money I just put into my account will have to be used on a new card — great. They’re probably overpriced at the bookstore too, which I won’t even be able to go to today ’cause of art *sigh* I think Maureen or one of her people had something to do with it, ’cause all the stuff on my desk was moved. I mean geez, it’s fine to move something a little, but not carelessly shove stuff around. Like my flowers were pushed up against my bookcase … not to mention whatever happened to my computer. Again, wtf? This is why my hall sucks!

Anyway, I g2g to class, but I’ll be back later … maybe … if my card hasn’t died.

Ew dark, rainy, and yucky day. But I passed Tech Level I! Score, now all the stupid required tests that I know of are over with. The guy there now recognizes me, so despite him being really nice, I guess it’s kinda good I won’t be back the rest of this semester

Anyway, I have almost an hour to kill before anthropology, so wonder what I should do … can’t go get quarters, which I need to do ’cause I only have five left … grr to checks taking forever to clear … it should by tomorrow. I also signed up for the step interval class at UREC tonight, which is, “step training with segments of muscular strengthening for a total body workout” according to the booklet. It’d be my first time … yay?

Brian just sent me a list of Halloween parties: looks like it’ll be Platinum (and hair dye and makeup ) on Friday! Cool.
