I’m going SKYDIVING! Next weekend, September 20th … and it’s also Brad’s 21st birthday (ooh), but I so didn’t plan it that way! LOL. I’m meeting Matt tomorrow before class to give him my deposit, so that’ll be cool — and know what else? He lives in the apartments that I pass every day on my way to art. Haha, so maybe I’ll have a place to crash in the future if he and his roommates are into that *shrugs* But who knows with him, since he was hired to pose ($200/week) by the people behind the nude model ads in the art building … they’re for the figure drawing class to draw, lol. That’ll be interesting. Wonder if I’ll be taking it? Anyway, night!

Ah this feels good … I just had some toffee coffee (haven’t had coffee in a long time), have no work (except for the Elizabeth Arden portrait due next Tuesday) and I’m listening to The Juliana Theory. I also just rescheduled my lesson for Thursday … apparently Amanda and I missed each other by a couple minutes … so that kinda sucks. But at least this time I won’t have to rush to art since Mrs. Shira is going to Kentucky for an art show Just gotta remember to pay the lesson plan fee and $20 dues at next week’s meeting. I also won’t be going to Wal-Mart tonight, but that’s okay … Karolina and Larry (who thanked me for my message last night ) said they would go, but were busy with stuff. So instead I’m doing laundry and site stuff … and might start on the portrait later when things get quieter around here. I’ll just go tomorrow before anthropology … and who knows, maybe someone else will be free. Anyway, not much else is going on … gonna check out the skydiving meeting (score) tomorrow, especially since you get $30 off your first tandem jump. I so wanna jump out of an airplane!

Since Blogger wants to be inconvenient … here’s my day: art sucked, riding sucked, the weather sucked, and homework sucked. Joy. And the student fair was again postponed, so now I have to wait ’til the 20 frickin’ 5th to get any club info. WTF. I dunno, it’s just been blah, especially when there’s not really anyone around to complain to. Which yeah isn’t what everyone wants to hear, but ya know. It happens. I guess bye.

What a weekend. Right now I’m sitting on my bed with my laptop (first time doing so at school) listening to music (currently “Right Here Waiting” by Bryan Adams) and it’s cool Just got through reading for anthropology ’cause we have a quiz tomorrow … and every Monday on the weekend’s reading. Hope it’s not too bad. LOL about halfway through I fell asleep for like 15 minutes (with my earplugs … I didn’t know they helped so much), but when I woke up Maureen was back, and though it took me a couple more hours to finish reading, it was nice to not worry about being tired. Man I SO need to make a DDR CD — it’d be awesome for working out! Oh crap, but I can’t, some of the songs are .wav files. Suck. Oh well, I’ll see if I can download the right versions. And Megan’s actually really cool, she and Amanda (I think … man everyone’s name is the same here) came in earlier, and she was like, “aw when did your man leave?” and thanked me for coming out last night. So yay. I even remember it all — I guess I’m better with drinking beer than whatever I have in the past

Anyway, onto the bulk of my weekend … or something. Brian came! It was awesome to see him (especially since he drove like 300 frickin’ miles total) even though the weather decided to be crappy and wet the whole time. At least we got Skyline Drive and Luray Caverns (with the maze!) done with mostly sunshine. Speaking of which, I wanna go back to Shenandoah and just camp and hike and all that cool stuff for a weekend ’cause I haven’t in forever. Either with that outing club I might join … or whoever ’cause I don’t think Brian wants to Oh, and Amanda (not the one with Megan, the riding one lol) called me tonight, and we arranged to meet in the circle thing (I think) by Hillside Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:15. I just hope my lesson time gives me enough time to shower and get to art on time … but if no shower, I guess I’ll live.

Tomorrow I definitely gotta do my laundry — couldn’t tonight ’cause I didn’t have enough quarters, but I’ll be getting $10 worth in the morning — yay. I’ll also bring my quarter collection from home this weekend, then I’ll be set for awhile. And Maureen brought a vacuum (and a new rug!) from her house, so gonna clean tomorrow ’cause the room needs it and I like to.

JMU FTP sucks — what exactly are they gaining with limiting bandwidth? Grr. Gonna call them tomorrow and see if I can make sense of it all, ’cause my fanlistings (and this site) are suffering.
