New layout! Yay! What does everyone think? It took forever to achieve the right feel, but I really like it (and image credit goes to the awesome Getty Images). I think the graphic is also one of my best blends, which is cool if nothing else. Speaking of which, I gotta update the graphics area … haven’t done that in awhile.
Anyway, wow, it’s way too late lol, so I’m going to bed. I shouldn’t even be up, but for some weird reason I’m not tired *shrugs* And crap, I think my dad’s awake … *goes to get ready for bed as quietly as possible*
Bye!

Today was okay. Slept ’til 12, which was nice. Downloaded songs for like 3 hours, lol, then went to the gym, opened mail (discovered my orientation date is July 14th — don’t let me forget to make hotel reservations), went to Bed Bath & Beyond, Tower, and Safeway, and then back home.
At Bed Bath & Beyond I got hangers, door hooks, and a picture frame, the Ultra Trance 2 and Warped Tour 2003 CDs at Tower, and milk, orange juice, and ice cream at Safeway. Ross and my dad went and played tennis at like 10 (yes, 10 pm … don’t ask) … and I made dinner and watched TV (Surf Girls and Trauma) while they were doing that. Had mac and cheese, popcorn, and Ben & Jerry’s. It was good, lol.
Tomorrow I’m thinking about taking the JMU math placement test, sending out graduation thank-you notes, going to the gym again … then probably seeing Brian. Also gotta make CDs! Ultra Trance 2 for Brian (his present
) and Rob Zombie (plus whatever else I come up with) for me. Ross better not hog the PC either.
Umm … what else. Oh, Caroline finally posted a picture of her new hair — it looks good, better than before in my opinion.
And my nose is red and peeling, it sucks. Stupid sunburn. I was all self-conscious today about my nose, ’cause it’s frickin’ red, lol. Claire the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

Wow, long time no update. ‘Cause so much has happened in the past few days, I’m just gonna make a list since I don’t feel like writing a book:
Today — said bye to Uncle Chris and Mary, finished unpacking (yay!), had dinner at Sweetwater, and saw “Finding Nemo” (awesome movie) with Brian
Yesterday — recovered from graduation, unpacked some more, watched TV with Brian all day, had dinner at Don Pablo’s, and saw “2Fast 2Furious.”
Friday — graduated (!), moved out from school, started unpacking, had a 4-hour graduation dinner at the Hyatt, and got some really nice gifts: roses and sterling silver necklace from Brian (aww), matching (by coincidence) bracelet from the Silvermans, $40 check from the Sennetts, $500 (!) check from Aunt Ann and Ed, $20 from Uncle Chris and Mary, Switzerland music box and diamond necklace (!) from Grandpa and Mary, and a creative, already-filled-in scrapbook from Grandma and Bob (aww). I was just like woah — definitely wasn’t expecting so much, and at such high quality lol.
Thursday — graduation practice, sleep, awards, nice school dinner, and baccalaureate.
Wednesday — Spanish exam, final room inspection, baccalaureate practice, packing, senior slide show, and taking half of my stuff home.
And from other people for graduation, I got: makeup bag and cherry gum from Ms. Thorndike, window ornament from Ms. Heide, journal from Natalie, $20 from Brian’s parents, and a card from Mr. Allen. So wow. I can’t believe I get more stuff for my birthday in less than a month. LOL, I don’t know what I want!
Okay, well that’s the past few days in a nutshell, and now I’m gonna go to sleep ’cause the screen is getting fuzzy
Bye!

Not much is going on, but figured I should post since I have time and haven’t in a few days.
So today. Woke up around 11:30, went online, to the gym, showered, to the store, packed, drove to school, packed some more (almost done), “studied” Spanish for like 5 minutes (lol), deleted songs on my computer, got ready for bed, and now I’m here. Not really really exciting, but yeah. Gonna go to bed soon … might as well, got nothing better to do. Tomorrow’s gonna be sorta busy … since Thursday and Friday will be taken up by baccalaureate and all that … Dad (and maybe Ross) are coming to take some of my stuff home, which will test my organizational skills lol. So I have my exam, baccalaureate practice, and the senior slide show (yay!) tomorrow … cool. Can’t wait to see the slide show as a whole, since putting it together was occasionally annoying. I wonder if there’ll be any pictures I haven’t seen yet lol. That’s the only downside of working on it, that you see most of the pictures beforehand. But oh well, I’m sure it’ll be good either way.
Anyway, gonna go now, but talk to everyone (or just someone
) later. Bye!

Man, both Shaune and Caroline are having relationship problems (again), which sucks, ’cause they were so happy in the beginning. Though I hope things get better for them, it also made me realize how special Brian is (not that I didn’t before, but you know what I mean lol). We’ve been together almost 11 months now, and haven’t really had any fights or big misunderstandings, and definitely haven’t broken up. I don’t know about the rest of the world, but that’s a first for me. All my past relationships have been screwed up in some way or another, but now, it’s like I don’t have to worry anymore. Everyone at school says I’m lucky to have someone like him, and I’m just like aww, yeah I know
It’s really comforting to know that he’ll always be there for me and that I can talk to him about anything, no matter what, and that he won’t think less of me if I accidentally do something wrong (which I tend to fear from everyone). I’m also glad he’s put up with me so far, ’cause everyone knows I’m not a simple person. Anyway, don’t mind me, I’m just having another Brian-appreciation (or something) moment.
Oh, and guess what else? Dr. Kelly emailed me, and I got the internship at Georgetown (finally)! Though I have yet to talk to Dr. Chahine and figure out the details, he definitely said yes to me working in his office, going on rounds with his surgery team, and observing operations. So yay! I’m so glad it worked out — I was beginning to have doubts since it was progressing so slowly.
Aw, and I just downloaded a clip of Taylor and Natalie’s wedding, it’s cute. I wonder if there’ll be more footage on the VH1 show … oh hey, and it airs tomorrow (Monday) night. Cool.
And now it’s time for sleep, so adios.
