Hulk, Harry Potter, bowling.

Arrow Sunday, June 22, 2003 @ 3:10 am

Aw, I was just watching For Better or for Worse on TLC, and now I can’t wait to get married lol. It was so cute and beautiful, everything they did, they were like the happiest people in the world. Except I wouldn’t want to get married on that show ’cause you don’t have control over anything. There’s a team that supposedly knows what you want, but on this episode they didn’t get the dress right, which kinda sucks. But oh well, not my problem

Anyway, back to reality *thinks* Last night I saw The Hulk in DC with Brian and Dan’s friends, which went okay. The movie was fine, but it was hard to get into conversation with everyone. I didn’t know what they were talking about, I didn’t know what to talk about, and getting anywhere seemed hard just ’cause they were a lot older than me and more experienced with the real world, etc. So I was just like yeah … go with the flow. But Brian says they like me, so I guess that’s good.

After all that we went Harry Potter searching, but failed, and Brian said he’d just wait ’til Monday to get the book ’cause he was really tired. But no, lol. After about 5 hours of sleep, I get up early to go on a 2nd book search ’cause I knew he’d appreciate it and love doing stuff for him. This time was successful (by me somehow finding Wal-Mart), but when Brian calls me later I find out he’d done the same thing! If we’d been a few minutes closer in our paths, we probably would’ve met, and that would’ve been funny. But it all worked out ’cause Brian wanted 2 copies in the first place, and even though I didn’t get to surprise him with the book, I surprised him with actually going and getting it, so yay

The rest of today was spent hanging out, napping, eating, bowling, and driving. We watched random parts of movies and some futuristic Extreme Engineering show on TLC. Had dinner at Burger King and frozen custard for dessert, which was yummy. And Brian “beat” me at bowling, but that was only ’cause I “let” him lol. We tied the first game though. And I got to play Cruisin’ Exotica! First game = 8th place and second game = 4th place. I hadn’t played in a long time, not since Fuddruckers I think, so that was fun.

Anyway, the screen’s getting blurry again, so it’s time for me to head out. Sleep tight — and bye!

Some more updates.

Arrow Friday, June 20, 2003 @ 2:18 am

For the past few days I’ve basically been working on my sites (lately making lots of graphics) and sorting things out with G-town (doctor appt. Monday and info session July 2nd).

Saw Brian Tuesday night for like an hour (I think we went to Sheetz?), and tonight we went out to dinner at Sweetwater and then watched Monsters Inc. It was pretty good, and I learned that Pixar is really cool.

Signed up to be a rep at the July 19th DVN concert, so that’ll be interesting. I just hope I don’t screw anything up  Erica also comes back from St. Louis then, so gotta hang out with her a couple times.

I got my grades today, and I’m happy (my dad too) — all As and Bs! Since I pulled my grade up in Spanish, my dad was joking about how going to Cancun would be less academic than originally planned, lol. If we even go, that is, which I really hope happens (and also that Brian can come, ’cause that would just be awesome for both of us).

Well I’m getting tired *early* for once, lol, so I’m going to bed. Tomorrow = just the gym and “The Hulk,” which will be cool. So bye!

Volunteer form, anger management, up late.

Arrow Tuesday, June 17, 2003 @ 4:20 am

Okay cool, Dr. Kelly said to go ahead and fill out the volunteer form … just wondering how I’m gonna get it there, ’cause it was a PDF and had to print it out. Blah. She also said she saw Dr. Chahine today, and that he said he’d call me soon (I hope that means this week). So yay.

Ross is pissing me off. On my way to Brian’s earlier, I called him and nicely asked him to put my laundry in the dryer ’cause I accidentally forgot, and he said he would. But did he? No. Of course not, he forgot as usual. I should’ve known and not even have bothered. When I came back it was still wet, and right as I finish putting it in the dryer, he starts yelling and hitting himself and the PC ’cause the internet wasn’t working. I was just like great, here comes another useless loss of temper *sigh* He always does this, I can’t stand it, it’s not like he’s making anything better, and now the mouse buttons are uneven — apparently he thinks destroying hardware is a good way to vent. Telling him to stop doesn’t work either — he just sits there and ignores me, as if my idea about calming down is so unbearable. Gah, it annoys me so much. No wonder the PC is so screwed up, he frickin’ abuses it. I should make him buy a new mouse or something, he needs to learn he can’t just take his anger out on the closest object available. Then again, so should my dad … *sigh again* This is one reason I’m looking forward to college, I really can’t deal with them sometimes.

Why do I keep staying up so late? Of course I get tired at normal hours when I lay down, but when I’m online, I just kinda sit there working on my sites, and could go through the morning if I wanted to. My eating patterns are all off too. I’ll barely have anything during the day, but then have a big meal at night and in the wee hours of the morning. It’s weird. And crap, I gotta go fold my laundry, but then it’s bedtime. Tomorrow = sleeping in, G-town form, graphics, gym, and Brian (yay).

Annoying Cox, Father’s Day.

Arrow Monday, June 16, 2003 @ 3:33 am

It’s 3:33, make a wish!

I kinda want the new Blogger hoodie (or t-shirt), lol. Anyway, yeah, haven’t posted in a couple days. I’m actually on AOL right now ’cause the net here is again being annoying and slow and stupid. My dad was pissed at Cox since it’s always their servers, yet everyone else I know who uses Cox has no problems. Grr. But at least I still have AOL.

Let’s see … almost finished with my Gap Fanlisting. I’m thinking about re-doing the navigation to include a “Clear” link, but can’t do that until the cable’s back up since the files are on my laptop and my laptop’s modem doesn’t work.

Happy Father’s Day! Mine was pretty good — slept in, caught the end of the Sully car show, hung out with Brian for awhile (aw he’s so great), had dinner with him and his family at Carrabba’s, did presents with his dad, then drove home and did presents with my dad, which he said he liked  Wonder how long it’ll take for him to actually set up the answering machine, lol.

I think my sunburn’s getting better (finally). I peeled off a lot of dead skin, which helps according to some medical show I saw a long time ago. And last night I discovered medicated Vaseline in the bathroom cabinet, and since putting it on my shoulders haven’t been as dry, so yay. Hopefully good things will happen if I use it every night.

I got an email from Dr. Kelly, and she said that Dr. Chahine might need some “outside pressure” to help this internship get off the ground, and that it wouldn’t hurt to call the surgery office. So gonna do that tomorrow and hopefully get things worked out.

List for tomorrow: call Georgetown, go to the gym and CVS, figure out how to deposit all my graduation money (since my bank just merged with Wachovia), and fix random WNC and Gap graphics. Tentative birthday list: digital camera, Animatrix (including soundtrack) DVD, Treasure Planet DVD, Gap gift card, full-length mirror.

Anyway, I’m getting tired, so gonna go to bed now. Bye!

Mellow yellow.

Arrow Friday, June 13, 2003 @ 1:44 am

Today was mellow. Slept ’til 11:30, went online, did the math placement test for JMU (which sucked ’cause I didn’t know or remember most of it), left a message for Dr. Kelly (the internship is still progressing as slow as anything), had dinner with Brian at Chili’s (I got grilled chicken with rice and black beans), and played basketball with Ross, Brian, and his dad (which was fun, and even though I haven’t touched a ball in forever, I still made a few baskets). It was crazy, my dad was still at work when Ross and I got home (and he worked late last night too, like midnight or 1 am). Apparently he has a new job dealing with VISAs or something, but don’t know the details. Oh well.

Oh yeah, and gotta get Neosporin at CVS tomorrow. Though Vaseline is working to keep my shoulders from drying out, it’s not really medicated, which I think is what I need. Otherwise, my sunburn’s gonna take 305937 years to go away, which would suck, and is just no. Blah.

Anyway, that’s about it for today, so gonna go start working on my new fanlisting, and then bed. Bye!

Photo board.

Arrow Thursday, June 12, 2003 @ 7:49 pm

Aw, Kristen mailed me a photo board as a graduation present. I come home from dinner with Brian to this huge box in the kitchen addressed to me, and I’m like wait what’s this? I’m not expecting any packages. But yeah, I open it to an array of peanuts, the board, and a letter lol. So if I get any graduation pictures back from grandma and grandpa and everyone, they’ll definitely be displayed on my new board (along with anything else that comes along  ).

Blister in the sun.

Arrow Thursday, June 12, 2003 @ 3:35 pm

Ow … my shoulders look like frickin’ charred logs in the fireplace … I’ve never gotten a blistering sunburn before. Grr … and it’s so distracting, I keep peeling it lol. But oh well, the rest of that day was awesome, so shouldn’t complain
