Okay I’m really tired now, but today was cool. Got up around 9, put up this layout, went to the gym, took a shower, went to the mall (yay!), had dinner with Dad at California Pizza Kitchen, and then went grocery shopping. It was good. Merchandise-wise I got a picture frame (for the semi-formal pic from Jane), the Matrix Reloaded soundtrack, and black pants and a purple collared shirt from Express *goes to find online pictures, but fails* I was also stupid — I got the wrong picture frame size (so had to change the display picture) and didn’t realize that the Linkin Park song on the MR soundtrack was already on their Meteora album, and that most of the 2-CD set is instrumental songs. Not that they’re bad … but I could’ve just download the rock songs, and spent those $15 on the Simple Plan CD that I also really wanted. Blah. Maybe I’ll stop by Fair Oaks on the way to school tomorrow and remedy tonight’s choices?

Tomorrow at 11 someone from Cox is coming to “fix” the net, but who knows what’ll really happen. Then it’s gym and invitation time … then back to school for yet another long week. Joy. I have like 15 required dinners and deadlines to worry about.

And what am I gonna do about Anilogic? They don’t wanna pay me, but the Georgetown thing is moving really slowly. Of course, I trust G-town more than Anilogic, but still … do I pick the definite, un-paid position or the better, unsure position? *sigh*

New layout! What do you think? It’s not that good, but I would’ve used another graphic if the stupid net wasn’t still down. Grr.

Anyway, this one’s all finished, except for the soon-to-be Calendar section over there >>> Plain HTML takes up too much space, and the calendar from here didn’t work, so now I’m searching Google. Hopefully something will come up soon, so stay tuned … oh yeah, and if you were wondering, the main picture above is of Something Corporate, and the lyrics are from their song “Forget December.”

Well, Anilogic called as I was driving home today, and they changed their minds again. They want to offer me the position, but only as unpaid. So I was like grr, and when I got home, called Dr. Kelly and left a message, so hopefully she’ll call back by Monday, which is when I have to let Anilogic know my decision. Maybe I screwed up during the interview?

Plus, the internet is down, so I’m stuck using 56k. Blah — great timing. Guess I won’t be putting the new layout up this weekend

Had dinner with Dad at Big Bowl tonight. It was good, but kinda weird to have to change into nice clothes when he got home ’cause we *might* be stepping into some nice restaurants to check out the menu and atmosphere. I was like umm wtf and didn’t see the reason, but did it anyway. So we walked around Reston Town Center for like an hour before deciding on where to eat for graduation (Angelo and Maxie’s or Paulo’s), and then where to eat for normal dinner. And as I was driving home, I felt really weird … even though I was going 40, it seemed like 2 mph … it was freaky, like woooaah. Yeah.

Anyway, g2g and scan some pictures … so talk to everyone later.

Well tonight was okay. Didn’t have too much hw, started packing already for the end of school (lol), and watched Friends while having fruit with chocolate ’cause it was the other Claire’s birthday. And now I’m just here, dunno what to write, but I’m bored, so hey. Gonna go to bed though — might as well get sleep while I can. And it’s weird, I called my dad tonight, and he’s inviting some of his b-ball friends to graduation. I mean, geez, why do all these people wanna come? LOL, it’s not that important — I’m not some model student and it’s not like my college graduation or wedding or something. But oh well, if they want to, more power to them? Anyway, I’m going soon, so adios.

Anilogic, tired.

Wow, today was busy. I would be typing this up online, but don’t wanna deal with everyone downstairs. And only now am I tired … I wasn’t before, lol.

Had the Anilogic interview, which I think went well. After saying how much they like my graphics, I’m hoping I get the position. And since the weather was supposed to be rainy and gross all day, I brought my jacket and umbrella to the interview, but of course it stayed 80 degrees the whole frickin’ time. I was like wtf? So that was annoying.

Oh yeah, and I saw Farah at the Dupont Circle subway station. I didn’t say anything to her ’cause I was in a rush, but this is the second time I’ve seen her on the subway, which I barely use in the first place. Weird.

Man, now I’m really tired … probably ’cause I ate the rest of my fried sandwich thing ’cause I was bored. I so feel like falling asleep right now … but no. Still have to finish getting ready for bed. Speaking of which, gonna go do that and sign in … brb.

Okay back … I’m definitely going to bed at 11. Gonna call Brian first and see how he’s doing … I’m also contemplating doing a little homework, but doubt it … all I have is a Spanish test due Monday, and 2 anatomy labs due on the 16th (I’m about halfway done). I have 3 frees tomorrow, too … so gonna work on Spanish during the first, and anatomy during the last two.

Tomorrow’s the last day of yoga … I’m sad. Now I gotta find some random place in Fairfax for it. Hmm.

Anyway, I’m out now before I collapse … adiosito

Crap … I just ate so much. During the day everything was good, but then, ’cause I’m bored tonight, I eat an apple, 3 fruit snacks, cereal, yogurt, and carrots with dip. Yeah, that doesn’t sound bad, but it’s like 1000 calories (added onto 1500) … blah. And now I feel sick … I always do that. But oh well, not like I can change the past … just won’t eat a lot tomorrow … or something. I need something to keep me occupied at night … and going online won’t work ’cause all the cords are taken by the underclassmen, and they’re annoying anyway. So tonight, after doing hw, I ate, listened to techno, printed pictures for the interview tomorrow, and read old AIM convos with Brian. Sad, huh? I dunno … and wtf, they changed the layout of Hotmail again. It’s bothering me. Aw, and my grandma sent me the cutest email thanking me for her yoga birthday card. Hehe. Well, g2g now and update my fanlisting and finish chatting with people … so bye. Oh yeah, and it was cute … I talked to Ms. Thorndike for a couple minutes today, and the semi-formal pic on the Activites board came up, and she asked if Brian was the same guy I’d been seeing for like 2 years. I said no, about 10 months instead, but she was like whatever, that’s two years for your age. So yay?

Ooh there’s gonna be a lunar eclipse on the night of Thursday, May 15, between 9 pm and midnight … hopefully there won’t be clouds, ’cause I wanna see.

Anyway, man I haven’t blogged in forever … I’ve been mucho busy … and mucho tired. From Thursday night to Sunday night I got an average of 5 hours of sleep. I was soo out of it by Monday, lol. Let’s see, Friday, finished my thesis and saw X-Men with Brian and his movie friends. The movie itself was cool, though I wasn’t into the following convo about the comic book. But oh well, it didn’t last too long. Saturday, did my homework for the weekend, went with Brian to see where Anilogic was in Dupont Circle (interview’s tomorrow!), had lunch in the cyber cafe next door (where I proceeded to get an overdose of caffiene lol), and then we walked around a little before getting back on the metro ’cause of anime night. That got canceled, though, so after getting stuff for Sunday done, we had dinner at Tuesday’s, and then went to sleep. Sunday, got up at 8:15 to leave for the horse show at 9, got there around 10, and waited around ’til 2ish to actually ride ’cause Ms. Laurie misjudged the time. I got 2nd place in the first jumping class, but then momentarily forgot where I was going in the second class, and didn’t let Sherman go forward enough in the third. I was kinda pissed at myself for that, but oh well. At least it was better than last year. Everything’s better than last year, lol. Brian came to the show, which was sweet, even though there was a lot of waiting around. Afterwards we had “brunch” at Mosby’s, and then we went home so I could get ready for the concert.

OMG, Bliss is pissing me off *is mad* She has the always-annoyed, loud, I’m-better-than-you tone kinda like my brother, but worse. Grr, I’m so glad I’m leaving.

Anyway, back to the concert. It was awesome, even though Erica and her sister and her sister’s friend wanted to sit up in the seats, and not down on the floor where I wanted to be. It was harder to jump in the seat section, too … it’s so easy to lose your balance and fall on the people in front of you. But it was still fun. I got a shirt and stickers. at one point New Found Glory did their own version of “Lose Yourself.” I was like score! Parking was easy getting there, but leaving, I sat in the lot for like an hour waiting for people to frickin’ move. It took forever. It was also hard to find my car, and then I almost got lost on the way home. I swear, I’m never gonna figure out Mason  Got home around midnight, called Brian to say hi, and then went to sleep … ’cause had to get up at 5:30 the next morning. Which sucked, but I did. Took a shower, packed, and left … stopped at the Middleburg Safeway for a few things, and got to school around 7:30. Unloaded the car, parked, then headed to the exam. It went pretty well (I hope), though my hand hurt so much after the essays. We also got food break, which was nice. Then I had Spanish, probability/statistics, and English, but Spanish was the only class I had to actually do something in. Prob/stat, we just sat there and went over the easy hw, and English, we got chocolate-covered strawberries and sparkling cider. It was goood, hehe. We don’t have class the rest of this week, either, which is awesome — I’m leaving at 11 tomorrow! Umm, then was the judicial, but nothing too big. A freshman cheated on a bio test … she got suspended for a week. Then I tried to get some much-needed sleep, but no. Of course not. The fuckin’ sophomores were screaming up and down the hall … and random people kept coming into my room. After the first I didn’t bother getting up. When they all went to dinner, though, I got about an hour, which helped a little. But not much … felt better after riding today. Which was cool ’cause our lesson lasted all of 20 minutes ’cause there was no served lunch. Yoga was also light … we did partner yoga, which was weird … and tried a little Pilates, but I definitely like yoga better. You have to breathe all fast in Pilates, and that doesn’t do anything for me. Umm … then I came back, took a shower, went to dinner, and now I’m here. And g2g ’cause it’s study hall soon … but I’ll be chilling in my room all night. Don’t have a ton of work for once, so yay. Oh yeah, and my anatomy test this afternoon wasn’t that bad! It took me forever to write everything out, and there were a couple things I wasn’t sure about, but nothing was surprising. So that was a nice change. Wonder if she’ll grade them tonight.

Anyway, adios … and wish me luck with Anilogic tomorrow.
