Connected again, loose cow.

Arrow Sunday, May 11, 2003 @ 11:58 pm

Well the internet works again at home. The workers who came this time were nice and actually talked to me a little. The one guy had 3 cats, so he liked Midnight and Mackie. It was frustrating doing all my site work on 56k … so frickin’ slow … but at the end I got to download my Good Charlotte and Simple Plan and The Exies, so was momentarily happy. I can really relate to GC’s song Hold On.

Then I was gonna go to the gym, but wanted to get my invitations done, and didn’t have time afterwards … blah. So I took a shower, packed, had Big Bowl and California Pizza Kitchen leftovers for dinner, and went to school. Stopped by Fair Oaks but forgot it closed at 6 on Sundays, so I guess I’ll have to get my picture frame next weekend. Got gas, too, which took like half an hour ’cause I kept driving the wrong way and picking the broken pump. And Erica said she almost hit a cow … haha. Priceless impersonation.

Study hall went by quickly … I was really tired for some reason so slept for an hour, then managed to finish my Spanish test and start probability/statistics. Made some buttons for Veronica, so she’ll be happy. And now I’m here … talked to Brian a little … yeah.

Crap, and the XM dinner is tomorrow, and I dunno if Amanda knows or is even here. Maybe the school gods will be with me and I’ll see her tomorrow? Speaking of school, I don’t have to get up ’til 8 tomorrow. Yay?

Oh well, g2g and do this thing for probability/statistics, so adios.

Mystery.

Arrow Sunday, May 11, 2003 @ 3:05 pm

I’m wondering just what Brian is doing in Iowa. He said he’d call me if he could, but no. When he was at his parents, he said he couldn’t call, but then he did anyway. This time he said he would, and didn’t. WTF? I guess he’s been drunk the whole weekend with Dan and Jeremy and whoever else — wouldn’t surprise me. Oh well, not my problem, I guess I’ll find out tomorrow. I hope he wasn’t all over some girl.

Mother’s Day, Yahoo themes.

Arrow Sunday, May 11, 2003 @ 11:50 am

Happy Mother’s Day. Too bad I can’t really celebrate it.

*waits for the Cox guy to come*

Is it just me, or are the My Yahoo themes not that attractive? There’s like 2 that are okay — the winter and purple ones. They need a better designer. Oh well, my morning has been uneventful, so bye for now. I wonder how Brian’s doing … ?

Okay I’m really tired now, but today was cool. Got up around 9, put up this layout, went to the gym, took a shower, went to the mall (yay!), had dinner with Dad at California Pizza Kitchen, and then went grocery shopping. It was good. Merchandise-wise I got a picture frame (for the semi-formal pic from Jane), the Matrix Reloaded soundtrack, and black pants and a purple collared shirt from Express *goes to find online pictures, but fails* I was also stupid — I got the wrong picture frame size (so had to change the display picture) and didn’t realize that the Linkin Park song on the MR soundtrack was already on their Meteora album, and that most of the 2-CD set is instrumental songs. Not that they’re bad … but I could’ve just download the rock songs, and spent those $15 on the Simple Plan CD that I also really wanted. Blah. Maybe I’ll stop by Fair Oaks on the way to school tomorrow and remedy tonight’s choices?

Tomorrow at 11 someone from Cox is coming to “fix” the net, but who knows what’ll really happen. Then it’s gym and invitation time … then back to school for yet another long week. Joy. I have like 15 required dinners and deadlines to worry about.

And what am I gonna do about Anilogic? They don’t wanna pay me, but the Georgetown thing is moving really slowly. Of course, I trust G-town more than Anilogic, but still … do I pick the definite, un-paid position or the better, unsure position? *sigh*
