Okay, won’t be posting that much … they added a second firewall address here and changed the settings, so even though the first one still works sometimes (like now), none of the laptops work online anymore. Grr.

Anyway … I so don’t wanna ride today. It’s cold and rainy and gross … I’m hoping they’ll cancel it, but not likely. I mean, I like riding, I just can’t enjoy it as much when the weather’s like this. But oh well … I’ll live … and Friday will eventually come, lol. So yay

Okay, and it’s mm time … talk to everyone later.

Grr, Morel in Sons and Lovers makes me so mad, lol. I can’t believe I’m willingly talking about a required book for English, haha, but yeah. Every time he’s mentioned I don’t know why his wife doesn’t just beat him up or something. If I had to deal with what she does, I dunno what I’d do. But anyway, maybe things will get better, seeing as how we’re only 2 chapters into it so far. But wanted to express that

Anyway, today’s been normal. Yoga was better, I think ’cause I wasn’t feeling as bad. And wtf, according to Shaune and the speaker tonight (I think), there’s a foot of snow in NY. That sucks … so I guess the rain we had here today isn’t all that bad … still sucks, though. I hate the cold, specially in friggin’ April. The weather needs to start corresponding to the season, lol. Umm, what else … ’cause of the speaker, our English homework was pushed back a day, so for once I won’t have any homework tomorrow night (score). Sadly, that’s only in English, though. Philosophy was boring as usual … probability/statistics was easy, all we did was go over the homework and talk about roulette, which we’re playing next class (yay) … lunch was good (grilled cheese! and salad) … yearbook was boring, the computers weren’t working so we *tried* to come up with an outline for the slide show … riiight, I was so ready to fall asleep. Then I was free, so did some homework. Then English, which was fine … finally presented my elegy section, and got a 97 on the Sound Of Waves quiz. Man, what a difference with actually reading the whole book, lol. Umm, after yoga I had my leftovers from Sunday night, took a shower, did more hw, went to the speaker (interesting and funny), did even more homework (it never ends) … and now I’m here. And that’s my day. Not much to celebrate. Tomorrow will basically be the same … and I’m hoping for nice weather on Weds. and Thurs. so I’ll be motivated to ride .. *goes and looks at the weather* … crap, no good. Just more cold. I want spring weather, dammit! Winter has been over for like a month

Oh well, probably gonna go soon. I’m hoping Brian gets on in a few minutes since I haven’t really talked to him since Sat … and ’cause he’s cool like that. Or something  Oh yeah, and I was talking with my dad, and it looks like I’m gonna start babysitting again. Mrs. Sennett wants me for about a week during the beginning of the summer, and then some neighbor of ours mentioned needing a sitter. So we’ll see what happens with that … dunno what I’ll actually end up doing, though. Anyway, Brian’s finally on (yay!), so I’m out. Adios!

Going back to school today was actually kinda cool, ’cause I made it from the two-lane part of 50 to Middleburg in 9 minutes. Score. It was basically ’cause the light at Gilbert’s Corner was green and I wasn’t stuck behind any slow people (I had good music on, too … Armageddon soundtrack). So that was like yay squared, and for the first time in forever, I walked in the door before 7:30, lol. So that was good. Anyway, can’t write a long post ’cause I g2g finish up some homework (I have endless English), but I’ll write more tomorrow or something. Wait, that’ll only happen if I have time between school, yoga, hw, and the Goodyear speaker (Jean Kilbourne). Blah. But you know me, I always manage something  Adios!

Woah … I was looking at the nutritional info for Don Pablo’s, and the steak fajitas I had tonight were like 1700 calories and 104 grams of fat. Ew … no wonder my stomach feels gross. Guess it didn’t help that I also had ice cream when I got home. Blah. Looks like the only semi-healthy things on Don Pablo’s menu are queso (appetizer), chips and salsa (appetizer), mama’s skinny enchiladas, grilled parilla chicken, any soup, and the sopapillas dessert. Good thing I’m going to the gym tomorrow. Also gotta make sure I eat right at school … semi’s on Saturday, and graduation’s slowly inching closer … and my dresses aren’t changing, lol. Anyway, it’s almost bedtime, so I’m out. Adios for now.

Well, my horoscope’s right:

You probably won’t feel much like working today, dear Cancer. You may not be all that tired, but you probably will be bored and restless, and unable to focus. On days like this, it’s best to concentrate on routine, mundane chores that you can do automatically. Get out your Walkman and put on your headphones. Take time to relax during a long, leisurely lunch, or perhaps brunch in a restaurant with friends. It’s important to have some fun. Think of it as an exercise in balancing your usually oh so serious self.

Blah …

Oh well … off to morning meeting and more class. Be back later.

Woah, good news too:

Claire –

I have mentioned you to my favorite surgeon. He is checking the policy at Georgetown and looking into it. I will wait to hear from him before I ask others.

I will let you know as soon as I know something more.
All the best.
– Dr. Kelly

Okay, wasn’t expecting something that cool. Maybe this’ll make up for the moving surprise … but probably not. Now I’m like half happy, half annoyed (very). I guess it depends what goes through first …

Oh yeah, and the judicial yesterday … basically the 2 girls went through what I did in NY at St. John’s … minus the party … and got expelled and suspended. Kinda made me think (wow, rare occurrence, right?) … ’cause if it were me, I’d be so, like, unable to comprehend leaving here this close to graduation. Yeah …

Umm WTF? We’re moving AGAIN. To 9728 Ranger Road … like 2 frickin’ blocks from where we are now. Geez, we just finished moving! Yet another thing my dad does without telling me first. Look:

Dear Claire & Ross - Tuesday night when I got home late from work there was a notice from our neighbor that a house I really like was going up for sale the next morning, which was yesterday. I arranged to walk through yesterday with our realtor Harry Lilly, and it is very very nice, so I made an offer to buy it and the owners just accepted an hour ago. I think you will really like it - the one facing the bridge over the creek to the Tennis Center. We won’t move until end June or end July, and the owners will let us walk through again when you guys are home. Be happy. Love, Dad

Fuuuck … just when everything was getting settled. I shouldn’t even have unpacked *sigh* Be happy? Yeah, right. Why does he even wanna go through the whole moving thing again? And omg, I’ll have to change my address with everything AGAIN, which takes forever *cries* No. No

Sorry, I’ll quit complaining now …
