Kay nevermind, I figured out what’s “missing” … I need a concrete summer job, confidence to talk to ppl, and motivation to think and achieve. Or something. I dunno, that’s what I got from talking to Brian tonight … I just wish I wasn’t so unsure of everything. Or that everything I’m unsure of will go back to the way it was … but nm, that doesn’t make sense. Gah I just want the year to end and get out of here … it’s driving me crazy. I can’t do anything right anymore.
*sigh* Breathe …

For once I didn’t have yoga today, and I got to sleeeep! Well, for like an hour and a half after taking a shower, but it was nice. Then, as usual, I did hw, played on the comp, and watched the last half of “Extreme Makeover” ’til 11, and then got online. I discovered my philosophy paper’s due Monday, so wrote the intro to that … but then slacked off (typical, right?) and finished my graphic. But oh well, if there’s time to work on the paper a little this weekend I’ll be fine — it’s an easy topic, too. Anyone wanna give me their views on what a lie is? LOL. Oh yeah, and the war’s over? Technically? That’s what I’ve heard and what my dad says … so yay. I wonder how Brandon’s experience was. Umm … so yeah. Still haven’t heard anything from Georgetown — the two weeks that Dr. Kelly promised me is gonna be over in a couple days … I hope she remembers.
Another thing — I keep feeling like something’s missing, like there’s something I gotta do, but don’t know what. Blah, it’s annoying.
Well, I’m gonna go to bed soon, even though I’m not tired — Brian’s not on, so I’m guessing he’s asleep. Maybe I’ll work on my paper more before lights out … or read. I dunno. Oh yeah, and how come when DVN is on Z104 this morning and performing at Wolf Trap (which is sold out) soon, I don’t know about it? Grr. ‘Cause some juniors made an announcement about it during morning meeting earlier, and I was like ? No fair … they even performed “Title of the Song”
Anyway, adios.
Oh, and Treasure Planet comes out on DVD on the 29! Yay! I’m excited — definitely my 2nd favorite Disney movie.

Today was also uneventful. Had class, lunch, more class, class meeting, yoga, dinner, and homework. Still haven’t gotten my probability/statistics test grade, but from the way she was acting in class, I think I failed that too
And crap, I have like a week to write my senior thesis *cries* Oh, and I found my Our Lady Peace CD … for some reason I put it in a different case on Sunday as I was packing for school *shrugs* My dad must’ve been distracting me. Ooh, and Ms. Heide had this cake with strawberries for us after study hall — it was good. I also started on a graphic for a new layout I wanna put up soon … but definitely not this weekend.
Anyway, that’s about it … just counting down ’til Friday when I can finally see Brian again … grr I miss him.

Today went kinda fast … probably ’cause I was busy most of the time. Had class, Leslie’s senior project, and yoga (I kept slipping on my mat), and after taking a shower, I’ve been doing homework since. Blah. I read 60 pages of S and L, wrote a response, did Spanish, discovered my outline for English isn’t due ’til Wednesday, and not tomorrow like I thought (score), and did a lot of my anatomy lab. Which she extended the date for, but I’m gonna try and finish it by the original date anyway so I’ll have enough time to do the last (yay!) one. Speaking of anatomy, she told us our test grades … and yeah, this time I was right about screwing up. I got a frickin’ 67 *sigh* She said it wasn’t that bad ’cause my other grades are good, but it’s still annoying. Oh well … the next (and last … finally) test is May 6, so gonna do better on that?
Umm … dunno what else. Filled out my green sheet … can’t come home ’til late Friday
Celia told me at lunch that her mom saw the Parent Newsletter this weekend, and they thought Brian and I were cute, lol. So yay to that.
Anyway, gonna go in a couple minutes if Brian doesn’t get on, so adios.

Almost forgot about Friday … so here it is in a nutshell: got a B on my philosophy quiz ’cause he let us score our own papers according to how we thought we did. Which was kinda cool. Blanked out on the big question on my probability/statistics test, so I’m pissed at myself for that … I might’ve been able to figure it out if I’d sat there longer, but I’d already been working almost 1 1/2 hours, and needed to get lunch and pack for the weekend … so was just like whatever and turned it in. Grr math sucks. Then I had riding, and Marit taught, and bugged me the whole time about “Shermanator’s” shoulder. Blah. There’s never any variety when she teaches. Then was my anatomy test, which I didn’t study enough for — of course I studied what was on the frickin’ assignment sheet, but no. She had to go and include all the notes when I’d specifically asked her before if a certain section was going to be included, and she said no. Gah she’s driving me crazy. After all that, I got out 30 minutes early, took a shower and got ready to drive Sookie to Union Station … but 10 minutes before we were gonna leave she comes into my room and tells me that she’s not going. LOL. I was like okay. Apparently her reasons were complicated, but she’s going to NY this week instead. Cool. So we talk for a little, I leave and head home, unpack and feed the cats, and have dinner with my dad at Artie’s. It was good, I got Roast Pork Tenderloin — yummy.
Hmm, I guess that was an uber-nutshell. Or something. LOL. Today really was a nutshell though: got up at 12:30, worked on my site (new layout’s finished!), went to the gym, showered, had dinner (my dad made London broil), packed, left for school, had study hall, and now I’m here. So nothing special. But Brian’s back, so yay
Anyway, it’s almost bedtime, so I’m gonna go … and attempt to finish my S and L reading, but like that’s gonna happen
Oh well — maybe the double will go fast.

Happy Easter!
Know what else was cool today? While at the gym, I was showing my dad something in Fitness magazine, and suddenly this guy asks me if I go to Foxcroft (I had a school t-shirt on), I’m like yeah, and he said that he used to teach soccer camp there. So that was cool — he even remembered a few faculty names, some of which are still around. My dad’s basketball friend Keith that I haven’t seen in forever was also at the gym, so got to say hi to him. He’s a doctor, so I think he was happy when I mentioned I was gonna be minoring in pre-med at Madison, lol.
After the gym I took a shower, went to Bed Bath & Beyond for a yoga mat, and then Tower to get the Evanescence CD, which is awesome. No wonder it’s number 3 on the charts
Then I went back online, fine-tuned the new WNC layout, and had dinner (pork, macaroni and cheese, salad, and Easter Oreos!) while waiting for Shaune to call. She eventually does around 9, and we agree to meet at Harris Teeter around 10:15. On the way there, Brian calls (yay!), so I talk to him for 5 or 10 minutes (be proud, I was able to drive stick and talk at the same time, lol) ’til I get to Harris Teeter, but then reluctantly have to say bye. Shaune and Willi and I didn’t really do much, either. We went in Harris Teeter for like 10 minutes, I drive us to Clarendon (for Barnes & Noble) and then Georgetown ’cause Shaune doesn’t have gas, check out a gay bookstore that Willi likes, look at cards ’til it closes at midnight, and then go home ’cause I had to be back by 1. I’m sure I could’ve stayed out later, but I was getting tired, and going back to Soho or whatever they were planning didn’t sound like a ton of fun. But oh well.
So yeah, that’s my day. And I’m gonna go now ’cause I’m muy cansada — so bye ![]()

Today was okay. Had a good riding lesson — we got to jump the hedges in Big Track. It was also Senior Service Day, but I was one of the two people who didn’t participate ’cause it’s stupid. If I was more outgoing I’d do it, but not like that’s gonna happen. Umm … English was boring, I wanted to fall asleep. Yoga was okay, but harder this time ’cause I was tired, and she gave us less breaks. After that I just kinda passed out for an hour and a half, but I’m still just as sleepy. I was having some dream, too, and I thought it was night, but then my stupid alarm goes off and I realize the day’s not over. Grr. So I drag myself out of bed, take a shower, study for probability/statistics and anatomy during study hall (sorta), watch Friends and eat this weird spinach bagel thing … and now I’m here. I also gotta take Sookie to Union Station tomorrow since Kelli canceled on her at the last minute, but hopefully it’ll go okay. I think I have just enough money to make it. Speaking of making it, dunno if I’ll make it to my bed before falling asleep lol … so I’m gonna go soon. I have 2 frickin’ tests and a quiz that I’m gonna fail … me reading the last half of Survival In Auschwitz is just not possible tonight (sorry Mr. Coven). And it’s gonna suck with Brian being away in CT for 4 days … how am I gonna survive? I won’t even be able to talk to him. No fair. Oh well, I’ll use the extra weekend time somehow … probably for the ton of homework I have. I hate all the crap at the end of the year *sigh* Anyway, I think it’s bedtime, so I’m out. Adios.
