I GOT INTO JMU!! Yay! 2 down, 3 to go. Score. It was funny, after getting back from the gym, I see this larger-than-usual letter, discover it’s from Madison, have a feeling it’s an acceptance, so I run into the kitchen (trying not to trip over the cats) to find the letter opener, momentarily forget where the light switch is (lol), but then I finally get it open and am like YAY! Hehe. My dad’s definitely happy, and no doubt everyone else will be too. So yay again

Okay, this is annoying. Kelli’s heard from Mason, Madison, and Mary Washington (she’s in), but I haven’t. What’s up with that? I really hope my address change isn’t screwing things up, even though they emailed me back acknowledging the new info. Grr. I’m gonna be pissed if something doesn’t come before NY.

Anyway, today was cool. Woke up around 10:30, went to the gym, went to the diner with Brian for breakfast (got chicken soup and a ham and egg sandwich), went to Tysons, got a haircut (short again), and spent too long in JCPenney, where I got jeans (omg there was this woman ahead of me in line wearing the ugliest pants), went back to Brian’s for dinner (at Sweetwater — I got the Monterey salad and a side of mashed potatoes) and just hanging out (watched most of Cast Away on HBO and met Stacy) … and now I’m here. And about to fall asleep, so this update won’t be too elaborate. Man, I gotta do my reading. Need inspiration. Hmm, maybe I’ll do a little tomorrow if I’m done with everything else. I still wanna get another new pair of Gap flare jeans, ’cause the ones I have now (as well as my Mudd pair) have a couple holes in them. But they’re like $50, so blah. I actually wanna get the pants and the leather star choker, lol, but doubt that’s gonna happen. Oh well. Well, gonna go check email, and then it’s lights out. Adios.

Not much has happened today aside from finally finding my dress and shoes. After Tysons, my grandma and I went to Safeway to get materials for dinner: peppered pork, peas and onions, and fried potato wedges. Otherwise, I’ve just been online, listening to music, and surfing and joining fanlistings. I also read about 30 more pages in my Auschwitz book for philosophy. Might do some more of that soon, ’cause I’m that bored, haha. I also applied to start a solitaire fanlisting with TheFanlistings, so if I’m approved, yay. Okay, well gonna go surf … or read, or something … so hasta luego

Check it out, my graduation dress (not exactly, but it’s the closest pic)! It’s so cool, it was the first one I tried on, and it was perfect. I also got these cool white shoes at Parade. So yay!

Blah I’ve only found one dress online (from Nordstrom) that fits the graduation specifications … grr. But there’s still Jessica McClintock (whose site won’t work), but I dunno about their prices … and Hecht’s and Macy’s, whose sites are dumb and don’t display clothing. But oh well … maybe I’ll get lucky tomorrow. We’ll see. Anyway, I’m going to bed … mucho tired. Adios.
