Fire: translated.

Arrow Thursday, February 27, 2003 @ 11:58 pm

Ooh yay, Brian translated the “Freuer Frei” Rammstein lyrics (from the xXx soundtrack) for me:

Getadelt wird wer schmerzen kennt
(blamed be who knows pain)
Vom feuer das die haut verbrennt
(from the fire that burns the skin)
Ich werf ein licht in mein gesicht
(I throw a light into my face)
Ein heisser schrei
(a hot cry)
Feuer frei
(fire free)

Geadelt ist wer schmerzen kennt
(ennobled is he who knows pain)
Vom feuer das in lust verbrennt
(from fire that burns in desire)
Ein funkenstoss in ihren schoss
(a spark hit in his lap)
Ein heisser schrei
(a hot cry)
Feuer frei
(fire free)

Gefahrlich ist wer schmerzen kennt
(dangerous is he who knows pain)
Vom feuer das den geist verbrennt
(from fire that burns the spirit)
Gefahrlich das gebrannte kind mit feuer das vom leben trennt
(dangerous is the burnt child with fire that separates from life)
Ein heisser schrei
(a hot cry)
Feuer frei
(fire free)

Dein gluck ist night mein gluck, ist mein ungluck
(your luck is not my luck, is my unluck)
Feuer frei
(fire free)

Yay (again)! So thanks to him for that, he rocks. I gotta get me some more Rammstein stuff

Ow … *cries* I’ve taken like 4 Midol, but they’re not working. So I’m just laying here in my room, feeling like crap. I’m dizzy, my back hurts a little, I feel sick from eating cereal and yogurt a couple hours ago, and I so don’t wanna get up and do my Spanish and statistics homework  Blah … and then earlier I tried to sleep, but for some reason I couldn’t. So that sucked too. Oh well, at least it’s ER night … and tomorrow’s Friday … the only redeeming factors. And then Saturday will be awesome: I get to see Brian, the gymnastics thing, and TMBG. And skip all the crap at school. So yay. But ’til then … ow  I’m gonna go play Spider Solitare now …

There’s nowhere I belong.

Ouch … thanks Brad for ignoring me. What did I do? Anything? Of course not. This is so stupid … I still wanna get back with him … I still really like Brian, who still won’t frickin’ say he loves me after 8 months (*sigh* … wtf am I not doing right?) … before Brad was saying how much we’re meant to be together … then doesn’t even wanna talk. Fuck. And I was happy for a minute about the Summer Sanitarium Tour, but not anymore. Frickin’ tickets are $83. Greeeat. Again I miss Linkin Park … why can’t they come here by themselves and do a normal show on the weekend? Hello, some people are not made of money. But screw that … oh well, I’m gonna go now and randomly surf. I should go to bed, but I took a nap earlier so I’m not all that tired. Or something. I’m gonna be Brad now and go without saying goodbye. Like the new LP song I heard tonight … I wanna be “Somewhere I Belong” … which doesn’t seem to truly exist … at least not forever. And that’s what I’m always looking for …

Annoying day.

Arrow Wednesday, February 26, 2003 @ 3:30 pm

*sigh* Today’s been annoying. Mr. Coven didn’t give us a break, English was boring, the morning meeting thing was stupid … I dunno. Blah. And it’s snowing again. Watch me get snowed in on Saturday. And yoga isn’t being offered for the spring, so I dunno what I’m gonna do sport-wise. Yeah there’s always riding … and Erica wants me to do ultimate frisbee with her, but she hasn’t said anything else. But whatever. I think I finished my anatomy lab … it was funny how I spent like 5 hours looking for stuff online when it was in the book … ’cause of the stupid directions. Maybe lab 6 will be the last … but not likely. It’s all due before spring break. Speaking of which, it needs to come. Don’t wanna sit through Interim, but oh well. Maybe it’ll be alright. Anyway, I’m gonna go hide out in my room … probably sleep. Or do more anatomy *shrugs* I’ll probably be on tonight if the philosophy paper doesn’t take forever.

Lots of work, day #101.

Arrow Tuesday, February 25, 2003 @ 9:58 pm

Today was uneventful. All I did was have class (Spanish, anatomy, double English, yearbook) and do homework, mostly anatomy. I think I’m almost done with that, though I screwed up this one section (of course … frickin’ unclear directions). But oh well. Then I read a poem for English and started my Spanish test, which is so long. OMG, it’s like 5 pages front and back. I was like umm? But at least it’s not due ’til Friday, so yay. I’ve done like 2 pages so far. And after I write this I’m going back to the dorm, finishing laundry, and going to sleep. Well, the latter if the sophomores aren’t screaming.

By the way, my most recent issue of Reader’s Digest (March?) still hasn’t come to the new address … which sucks ’cause I don’t have anything interesting to read when I’m bored and sick of homework. Hmm, maybe I’ll steal the library’s copy.

Anyway, I’m gonna go now … talk to everyone (or just Brian  ) later. Night night. Ooh, and I almost forgot — tomorrow’s 100 days (we wear all white) and Thursday’s 99 (we wear all black) ’til graduation! I’m so excited. I dunno what I’m gonna do when it actually comes, though, ’cause when Sarah almost started crying at just the thought, I felt like it also. And I never cry, lol … but we’ll see what happens, won’t we?

Middle-of-the-day randomness.

Arrow Monday, February 24, 2003 @ 12:18 pm

Well Blogger’s back … yay. Know what’s cool? All the Fox/Hound crap this weekend isn’t required, so if my dad lets me, I’ve leaving the normal time on Friday, lol. He probably won’t, but hey … I’m not missing the gymnastics thing for a bunch of games and other stupid stuff that I won’t go to anyway. Ross is also coming home Friday for his spring break … I wish mine was 3 frickin’ weeks, lol.

Anyway, not much else is happening. Just got back from lunch … had chicken soup, salad, and 2 cookies. It was good … and of course the net is being stupid again. Blah. I have riding in about 10 minutes too … hope I get Sherman, Emma’s too slow. Then I have double anatomy, and an actual quiz — one that won’t have any surprises. Score. But we’ll see what happens … who knows with her. After that is yoga … and then I’ll basically do homework the rest of the night. My anatomy document has been behaving so far *knock on wood* and I have some random statistics also … fun fun. Adios!

Glad it’s Friday.

Arrow Saturday, February 22, 2003 @ 3:04 am

The anatomy document crisis is over *sigh of relief* A temp file with most of my work randomly showed up around 1 am last night, so everything’s good now. I was so scared I’d have to write it all over again … but thankfully the computer gods were on my side for once.

Umm … and then today was normal. School was fine, just gotta do corrections on my philosophy test (which we took a month ago … he finally handed it back to me today … typical Mr. Coven  ) and Spanish workbook … and do something for my senior thesis. Find books or something? *shrugs* Remind me to look at the due dates for that. Then I had riding, and rode Carousel … geez he’s fast. I mean, he looks perfect when you’re watching someone else ride him, but then when I get on, it’s like zoom zoom. He’s good for the approach and the first fence, but afterwards I’m just trying to stay on. I dunno why, even Meg can sorta ride him … I guess I like more relaxed and easy-going horses (aka Sherman) … ’cause otherwise it’s no fun. But oh well, it wasn’t too too bad.

After all that I took a shower and packed, had Spanish, statistics, and English … then got outta there and went to Brian’s. We made pizza for dinner and rented “Iron Monkey” (I think I’m all kung-fu-ed out now) and watched “Outbreak” on TV. Which I haven’t seen in forever … I’m actually considering buying it ’cause it’s one of those rare movies that could actually happen. Then we had some Ben & Jerry’s (I got Phish Food since they didn’t have Vanilla Caramel Fudge … which I hope is still made, lol), watched a couple minutes of “Daria,” and then I went home. Got back around 1, unpacked, chased Mackie out of my room (he’s figured out that if he goes under the bed it’s harder for me to get him … must invent new strategy), and now I’m here. And that’s about it I think, so adios ’til manana … now is sleep time.
