Well today sucked, then got better. First I had .. *thinks* … statistics, which was really hard not to fall asleep in. Then I had a free (yay), and then Spanish. Spanish was annoying ’cause half the time Ms. Gowdy can hear me, then the rest she’s like “what?” and I get confused ’cause I dunno if my answer’s wrong or I just need to speak up. Grr. And then I had anatomy, which went by without incident, and English after lunch, which was fine except for me and half the class getting a 52 on the Emma quiz, and an 85 on the character response. So I was kinda mad at myself for that. My last class was double philosophy, which was actually pretty interesting. Now I know how to write about something philosophically … unlike my first homework due today which he looked at skeptically, lol. But oh well, it’s all good. Yoga was relaxing, as usual (yay), and then I took a shower and had dinner. Then I got on and talked to Brian for a few minutes (also yay), and afterwards got my stuff together and went to the library ’cause I’m on duty on Mondays. I did a good amount of work, too. First was statistics, which was easy for once (hopefully it’ll stay that way), and I got to teach Natalie the few techniques we’d learned ’cause she’d missed class. Next was reading for English, which was pretty cool, and then I surprised myself and almost finished my movie oral about The Fifth Element for Spanish. Which isn’t due ’til Wednesday. So kick ass, hehe. Then I came back to the dorm early for the Sequence tournament, but lost (why didn’t Mellie see the move, lol) … and now I’m here
And finally not about to fall asleep, so yay. I also found a new survey, so I might go do that soon. But talking to Brian is way more entertaining
Anyway, I’m out for now — bye!

Blah … I’m still cold from the meet. Or maybe that’s just ’cause I can’t feel the heat in here
Oh well … but I was warm during my nap, so yay.
Oh yeah, guess what? I figured out that if I go 70 the whole way from my house to school, I can make it in 45 minutes. I would’ve done that this morning, but some stupid pickup was going 40 on the two-lane stretch on 50 … it was annoying, but I was finally able to pass him after Aldie. And I still got to school at 10, even though I left at 9:10. Cool.
Going backwards even more … my dad made breakfast this morning, which was a nice change. We had scrambled eggs, bacon, blueberry muffins, and bagels — it was good. I took like 5 muffins and half a bagel back to school, hehe. My dad even offered to Windex my windshield, so now most of the yucky white stuff is gone. Then for dinner Ms. Heide made mac & cheese, so I just finished having some of that.
I think tonight I’m gonna work ’til 10, come downstairs ’cause there’ll be a fire, get online for a little bit and talk to Brian, and then go to bed. I feel like going to bed now where it’s warm, but oh well. Anyway, I’m probably gonna go back up in a bit … my philosophy and English are calling me.

So today was cool — first I had Spanish, which sucked ’cause I was barely awake and somehow got stuck with reading the most from the book. Anatomy was easy ’cause she gave us time to work on our labs, so now mine’s almost finished. Double English was long … we had to do another AP exercise, and of course I hardly get any right. Stupid passage makes you think too much
Then for the second half we talked about Emma. Muy divertida.
Lunch was at the stables ’cause there was some sheep thing going on (umm what brought that about?), but I didn’t go ’cause 1) I needed to pack and 2) the food would probably make me sick. So during that whole event I took a shower, packed, and had cereal and yogurt for lunch, which was good. I got online for a few minutes to say hi to Brian and work out tonight’s details, then went to yearbook. Which I didn’t even need to go to — all she did was show us how to take good pictures and open up PageMaker and Photoshop on the computer. Duh. But once while she was walking around, she patted my chair and said, “I know this is review for you.” I was like yup. She let us out 15 minutes early (score), so I did what I’d been looking forward to all day — left!
Since Brian was still at work, I went to Fair Oaks for about a half hour until he got home. I went into Gap to see if they had anything worth spending my gift cards on, but since the store is really small and sucks, I didn’t get anything. Then Brian calls and says he’s running late, but that’s okay ’cause I go to his house anyway and watch TV ’til he gets home. When he gets there I’m like yay, and spend about an hour saying “hi” (lol) and happy we’re together again. We try to go to Sweetwater for dinner, but the wait is 67 minutes, so we’re like um no. I suggest Sino’s, so we have chinese food instead. We got spring rolls, General Tso’s chicken, and beef lo mein — it was yummy.
Then we parted ways so Brian could go watch Star Wars II for the 1000th time (and enjoy 20-foot Yoda), so I went home, fed the cats and unpacked my stuff, then decided to go to Tysons ’cause it was only 7:30. I go to Gap there (’cause it’s big and doesn’t suck), and find two more sale items — a black, hooded, polartec jacket thing that’s really warm, and then these fuzzy red pj pants. Of course the pj pants I really wanted had a rip in the front (and there was only one of the small sizes left), so I had to forgo that. I also tried to find my size in the cool bras that unhook in the front, but that didn’t work either. So I just get the two fleeces, and then stop at CVS to get body wash and rinse. By then it’s like 9:15 (I spent forever in Gap, lol), so I go back home … and now I’m here. I’ve been working on my laptop deleting random files and transferring songs to the PC so I can make CDs later. Yay. But what I really should be doing is packing … ’cause this is the only weekend I have, haha. Yeah, so gonna go start that … adios!

WTF? Now AIM won’t work. I really hope there’s something wrong with them and not the firewall … grr. Ooh, but AIM Quick Buddy works … yay
Oh yeah, and 2 more things I forgot to say before: Ms. Leip sent me a letter saying congrats on making honor roll (first time since middle school, haha) … and I heard that my anatomy book cost $115. That’s ridiculous … it’s only a semester course, I won’t use it all that much, and it’s not like I’m majoring in science or anything. Blah. But oh well … can’t really do a lot about it.
Well, back to work!
And *hugs* to Brian ![]()

Okay, so I’m not a poetry finalist this year, but that’s okay. No one can compete with Blair and Tempe and Jackie and Natalie … and not like I’d enjoy reading in front of the whole school, anyway.
And riding today actually wasn’t that bad (we got to jump over Christmas trees!) … I rode Sherman, and I think they put me in a lower class. I don’t really mind though, ’cause now everyone isn’t better than me
Also, the draw on Sunday is at 10:30, and the meet starts at 11. I have a feeling I should be there by 10 though, ’cause that’s what I’ve needed to do in past years. Blah … nothing like getting up at 8 am on the weekend.
What else … philosophy and statistics were fun today. In philosophy we argued about the new ethics “lectures” that will be incorporated into the null periods every week. What the hell … “null” is supposed to mean “nothing.” Gah.
LOL, and then statistics was crazy. It was basically the whole discrete class, meaning it’ll be the same as first semester except the subject. Sarah kept writing “I <3 you" and "Brian <3s you" on my binder, which took me awhile to realize. It was funny ... Meg was cracking up. We didn't get anything done, as usual ... so no homework tonight. Score. Maybe we should try to make that happen more often lol. I also hope I can pass statistics ... 'cause I'm not good with numbers, and statistics is like all that … but Ms. Erba majored in statistics as both an undergrad and grad (meaning she loves it), so hopefully that’ll help me out a little.
Oh, and in English we had an Emma quiz — which I knew all of except for who Ms. Hawkins was. And there were only 3 questions. So I definitely got like a 66 … crap. Not good. I mean, the answer was on the tip on my tongue — I remembered reading about her in SparkNotes … just not her relationship to people. Grr … yet another example of me being dumb.
Umm, and I think that’s it. Gonna go take a shower soon and do work, then have dinner … and study hall. Hopefully the internet will stay up through all of that. It better — they’ve definitely had enough time to fix it. How long has it been, like the whole year? LOL. Anyway, it’s that time, so I’m out … adios!

Okay, maybe my computer is screwed up. Obviously the net’s working, but when I enter my password for XP, it freaks out and freezes or something. Grr! And the hub has power and the lights are sort of blinking … I don’t get it. It worked fine in the dorm … this sucks having to do my work on school computers … blah. But oh well … guess I won’t be spending as much time here (the library) as I thought.
And omg, my anatomy textbook is huge. It weighs like 30 pounds and comes with 2 CDs and little booklet thingies. I was like geez lol.
Anyway, gotta go do vocabulary for English and start on anatomy lab 1 … so adios. Oh yeah, and happy anniversary to my baby! Hehe ![]()

Stupid Blogger just erased my post ’cause of the stupid firewall. Now I have to post before publishing. Grr. But I’ll recap … I basically said that I don’t wanna go back to school, my windshield looks crappy ’cause of its blanket of salt and washer fluid, it took me like 2 hours to unpack, I got a summary of Emma online, my computer’s fine except for the modem, there’s a meet this weekend, and Brian got me flowers today for our 6-month anniversary (aww), and I miss him. Being at school sucks, but at least I’ll be about 10 minutes closer after the move (we got the townhouse) … so yay. Anyway, I’m getting kinda tired, so it’s bedtime (need energy for tomorrow) … bye!
