There is always something that doesn’t work here. The internet, electricity, WATER. Last night after study hall a main water pump broke — so no showers, cooking, drinking, flushing, etc. It was so annoying. Luckily I’d taken my shower earlier. Then this morning, the water was back on. But barely. It was sputtering and turning from brown to clear every few seconds, and I knew it couldn’t be good to brush my teeth and wash my face with it. It was gross … but hey, ya need water, and there wasn’t any other choice. I’m definitely stocking up on bottled water today, though. I hate how going here is so esteemed when half the time the conditions are like public school.

Anyway, last night was cool. I wasn’t tired at 11 like usual, so I stayed up to about 1:30 talking to Brad (in Spanglish), Lindsay, Kristen, and Liz. And Ta, Becca, and Dani. It was muy funny, and good catching up with all of them. Kristen’s dorm room is still flooded, which sucks. I told her to send the extra water my way, haha.

Well, it’s email time, and then class ’til 2:30. Bye for now!
