Not obsessed, yoga soon.

Arrow Thursday, January 30, 2003 @ 3:00 pm

WTF? I’m not “obsessed” with anybody. Mentioning a name more than once is not a big deal. Geez. It’s also annoying when I don’t find out from the source.

Well, we didn’t get in trouble in English. I mean, he wasn’t happy about what we did, but he wasn’t mad. He said the story was one of the better ones, and he’s interested about reading what we came up with. So that’s cool. But it’d be funny if our whole class went to judicial

Have yoga in about 30 minutes … first time in a week. Stupid judicials keep happening on Monday. Oh well. Can’t wait ’til tomorrow … this has not been a good week. Definitely looking forward to home.

Anyway, I’m out — nothing else is happening in my uninteresting life.

Don’t wanna be here.

Arrow Wednesday, January 29, 2003 @ 11:30 pm

Tonight’s been depressing *sigh* And still, no one’s on. Quiero ir a mi casa. Y nadie me encanta. Estoy aburrida, o que? Necesito una noche contenta con Brian … o Brad. Well I’m going to bed … and wishing I didn’t have to wake up.

Oh yeah, and they spiffed up the firewall. Now I don’t have to click to load the window. Ooh.

Bored and blah and alone.

Crap … I so shouldn’t have had some of the soup for dinner. Before it I had a bagel, and thought I was still hungry, but guess not. ‘Cause now my stomach hurts, and I’ve been trying to read Hamlet, but I can’t concentrate. I would get online, but I’m too lazy to go to the library, and no one would be on ’til 11 anyway. I already did all my homework … maybe I’ll call someone? Probably not … I’ve even read like half of the December 2002 Reader’s Digest tonight. And I finished the November one last night. How pathetic is that?

Grr I wanna be home. And have fun with someone and like watch a movie and order pizza and just hang out *sigh* Ross is coming home this weekend, it’s his long weekend. So Saturday night me, him, and Dad are going out to some Italian restaurant on 50 that Dad says is good. So yay for that. Haven’t had a family dinner in long time … since I didn’t go anywhere for Christmas and stuff.

What am I gonna do in the hour I have ’til the kiddies go to bed? Umm … I guess I’ll just read more Reader’s Digest … maybe Hamlet if I feel better. Hell, maybe I’ll just go to sleep, since I am tired … but no, I wanna talk to people tonight. Speaking of being tired, if Ms. Gowdy gives us one more assignment of busy work, I’m gonna scream. It’s all we do in class, and it’s all we do for homework. I’m so sick of it, and I’m sure everyone else is, too. At least Ms. Arana wrote her own worksheets and thought up games for us so we’d be somewhat motivated. Plus, we’ve been working on the preterite and imperfect forever … isn’t there more to Spanish than that? *sigh* I want long weekend. And Brian. Or Brad. All of my other close friends are away … *tries to find something to do*

Slack off day.

Arrow Wednesday, January 29, 2003 @ 3:21 pm

Haha, English was great. Mr. Matthews wasn’t there again, so Mr. Northrup came in and gave us this stupid AP test sample question that we all had to write an essay on. Then he left, so we were like screw that (the prompt was asking about literary terms, which we’ve all written like 100 essays on already), and instead wrote one essay as a class and turned it in  And I don’t see why we would get in trouble — everyone participated and had their ideas included, and we worked for the whole class period. It’ll be interesting to see what happens tomorrow. LOL.

Then in philosophy after taking the easy test (we had a word bank!), we took our break, and just stood in the PX talking for like 15 minutes ’cause we didn’t wanna go back, and knew he wouldn’t care. It was me, Sarah, Leslie, Tempe, and someone else. Walking out, we got on the topic of getting packages from boyfriends ’cause the UPS truck had just parked in the lot, and had a crazy conversation while going up the stairs. Man, I guess I will miss parts of this place after graduation — the graduation part just needs to hurry up!

Anyway, I’m out for now — adios! Oh yeah, and in morning meeting today Mr. Suitor informed us that some members of the US gymnastics team will be coming here next week. There’s not really a reason, lol — I guess the opportunity just appeared, and we said yes. It’ll be cool though — I wonder who they are?

Stupid firewall … why won’t you let me comment?

Leadership dinner, English, XM.

Arrow Wednesday, January 29, 2003 @ 12:44 pm

Written January 29th, 2003 @ 12:21 am

There was a leadership dinner tonight, and man was it good. LOL. I had salad, chips and bean dip, cheese and bread, chili, and a brownie, peanut butter thingy, and cookie for dessert. And then since the bagels were still frozen, I took one back to my room for tomorrow. I have SO much food in my room, haha. I don’t think I’ll even go to the dining hall tomorrow. For breakfast and lunch I’ll probably have cereal, and then the bagel and Brad’s soup for dinner. Yummy. And since I don’t have anything after school, I can take a nap and not worry about getting up to eat. Cool.

English today was different. First of all, he wasn’t there (and won’t be tomorrow either), so Ms. Raush sat in for him. Everyone forgot about the vocab quiz since we hadn’t had class since Thursday … and then it didn’t help that he made it fill-in-the-blank with impossible sentences. So grr to him. But afterwards we watched the Hamlet movie (during which I read the homework assignment), and then we got out about 10 minutes early.

After that we had a class meeting, and we got to pick our juniors for XM. Almost everyone had to have 2, so I took Ash and Amanda. Too bad I never see Amanda anymore … she like hides out in Applegate or something. But Ash’s in my dorm and the yearbook class, so it’s all good. I talk to her online, as well.

I’m eating from a huge bowl of this mega chip-pretzel-nut mix left over from the Hound sing-sing. And I’m surprised, the chips are Terra chips (my favorite)! I’ve never even seen them on campus before, so yay to whoever picked them out. Just don’t let me eat the whole thing

During the dinner, everyone separated into their little groups, and Ms. McKibben started saying how we (the Dean’s prefects) weren’t doing our job (in the library during study hall). People are IMing (*coughMORGANcough*), talking, etc … and no one does much about it. Dress code is another issue, too. So tomorrow at lunch, we all gotta go to her office and have a *quick* meeting about what to do. Fun fun.

And fuck, why does the stupid net always go down when I’m in the middle of something? It’s so annoying, wtf is wrong with Verizon (and this school)? You’d think they would’ve gotten their act together by now. Geez. Ya know, this never happened last year. And now it’s like a daily occurrence.

Oh yeah, and new layout! What do you think?

Judicial recap.

Arrow Monday, January 27, 2003 @ 5:30 pm

Yeah that judicial was really depressing … I so didn’t wanna expel her, but we’d already given her a second chance, and she obviously hadn’t learned … or something *sigh* Even though I wasn’t friends with her, it still sucks ’cause she’s in like the worst position possible  I just wish there was another option.

Anyway, it’s dinner time, so ttyl.
