Screwed up sharing.

Arrow Tuesday, December 3, 2002 @ 11:29 pm

Stupid stupid computer, why won’t you work? You just did! Geez … I think the share connection screwed something up. ‘Cause Ms. Gamboa couldn’t figure out what was wrong before. And I dunno how or why it was working … I guess it just decided to. Blah. It needs to “decide to” more often. But I shouldn’t complain, the past few days have been good — and I did a lot of work today (English extra credit, vocab, Metamorphosis paper, Spanish, and microbiology). Yay. What I have left is the architecture project (joy), microbiology project (joy squared), random reading, and whatever else work they decide to give me. But I don’t have riding all week except for Thursday, so that’ll give me time to get everything done. Oh yeah, and I handed in the final drafts of my remaining college applications today, so that is finally over with. Let’s just hope I did everthing right. And I wonder if my application with Goucher is regular or early. Hmm. I emailed Ms. Hill about it a few weeks ago, and she hasn’t replied. Grr, I hate people who take forever to answer email. I’ve sent her 3 total, and so far she’s only replied to 1, and that was in a 24-hour period. Is she trying to tell me something? LOL. Anyway, not much else is happening, so I’m gonna go, and probably go to bed soon ’cause my computer’s fucked up. Oh well. So adios!

Snow, Brad and Ashley.

Arrow Tuesday, December 3, 2002 @ 6:20 pm

Yay (again)! It’s finally gonna snow tomorrow! Kick ass  It sucks I won’t be home though … I wanna have them cancel school so I can go sledding. Hehe.

And yeah, Brad’s gotta like Ashley — why else would he keep asking her to call him/hang out with him? And I know they had a little thing over the summer. Of course they both deny it, but you never know … guys can be like that  Or not … she just said, “I’m supposed to apologize to you for getting Brad’s number or something like that.” Huh? I wasn’t even mad in the first place. LOL *shrugs* Whatever.

Job, still early action, late.

Arrow Tuesday, December 3, 2002 @ 10:40 am

Yay! I have a job (at Pacific Sunwear)! Haha, I know most people wouldn’t say that, but I’ve spent the past 6 months looking, and now I have one. Well, who knows if it’ll be permanent (since it’s over break), but at least it’s something. And hopefully Nicole and that guy (whatever his name is) will be cool, and that I’ll like it.

Also, I dunno how I managed to do this, but I got an email from JMU, and somehow my application is still early action! Someone from admissions personally emailed me saying to disregard the letter I got before saying my materials were late, and that my application was now complete. So yay! I still gotta wait ’til mid-January … but it’s better than being regular.

Oh yeah, and I was like 3 hours late to school last night, but thankfully Ms. Heide wasn’t mad, just worried. I thought I’d be in a lot more trouble … but I’m definitely not gonna do it again to find out, lol.

And wtf? Why is publishing temporarily unavailable? *kicks Blogger*

Ooh, and I now have all the settings saved that I need to change from the network here to the “network” at home, hehe. So yay.

Sore feet, Radio City show.

Arrow Monday, December 2, 2002 @ 12:18 pm

*cries* Tomorrow is my last day of freedom. Break, as usual, went by way too fast … I don’t wanna go from sleeping in, driving, shopping, relaxing, and seeing Brian every day to being “jailed” for 2 1/2 weeks. Grr. Stupid school. But maybe I’ll be able to get out sometime … *crosses fingers*

Anyway, NY has been pretty cool. This morning sucked though … the wind was strong enough last night to blow a window open, and since I was sleeping on the sofa bed with one blanket, I was freezing almost the whole time. I kept trying to devise ways to make myself think I wasn’t cold … like lying on my stomach, hiding under the sheets, and imagining I was in Brian’s arms  Then when we were walking to the subway a little later, the wind almost blew us off the street — literally. Like we could barely walk. The Weather Channel said it was 30 mph (which it definitely seemed like), and it was cold, especially with the river right there.

The other part that sucked was me being stupid and only bringing one pair of shoes — my Candies. Idea = bad! LOL, my feet are so sore, I could barely make it back from my grandpa’s apartment. I was limping the whole way too, ’cause my right foot had this bruise-like thing on top. It wasn’t fun … but it was worth it.

The Christmas show at Radio City Music Hall was awesome, even with me being tired and wanting to fall asleep and us being in the 3rd row from the back on the 2nd balcony. The Rockettes were really good, the 3D Santa tour was cool, and they had actual camels, horses, donkeys, and sheep onstage, as well as a small (yet 100% real) skating rink. I also got a t-shirt and a pin (for my backpack) at the Radio City gift shop. Speaking of which, I also had a good shopping day!

Anyway, it’s sleep time now since I gotta get up at 8 frickin’ 30 in the morning … so adios, and *hugs* to Brian

Evil criminal quiz.

Evil criminal quiz
Congratulations, you’re Imelda Marcos! You’re famous for your shoes (enough that you eventually opened an entire museum of them), and sometimes lauded as a celebrity. But underneath, you’re still the woman who spent billions of dollars of money stolen from the Filipino population; theft that lead to extreme poverty. Your husband, Ferdinand Marco, stole well over $5 billion, and plunged the entire country into heavier and heavier debt. Your response? Spend it. Spend it all. Even when you claim to have reformed, sources estimate that you illegally hold $12 billion worth of shares. I guess luxury’s just your style. Which evil criminal are you?

Made it to NY, Mary’s party.

Arrow Sunday, December 1, 2002 @ 12:19 pm

Yay! So I made it to NY and didn’t die on the plane ride over. Mary’s party was cool, she had like 20 people over, really good food, and a bunch of presents. Too bad we forgot ours at the hotel, but oh well … everyone else’s were better anyway

So, now I’m just sitting here on Ross’s Mac (and pissed at my computer’s anti-XP modem) and chatting with Brad and this guy Rob from Hot or Not … he’s kinda boring/mean though. And Brian needs to get back from his little disco thingy … haven’t talked to him all day! I’m going through withdrawal and stuff  But oh well, I won’t be here forever, and I’ll see him eventually … stupid closed school weekends (notice the plural) for Christmas stuff and exams. Blah. But I’ll probably be able to escape for a little bit, if I play my cards right. Or something lol.

Well, I should probably go now, I’m sure Ross wants to get online … so ’til next time, bye!

Ooh oh yeah, and the Radio City Music Hall Christmas show (with the Rockettes!) is tomorrow at noon — yay! Should be cool. And then after that is shopping on Fifth Avenue. Yay x 2!
