Done and done.

Arrow Tuesday, December 24, 2002 @ 3:49 pm

Don’t have time to say much … but I’m finally done with shopping! All I have to do now is wrap Erica’s, Kristen’s, and Brian’s presents, and I’m done. Score. Well, I’m out — going to the mall with Shaune and then meeting back up with Brian  Adios!

Annoying brother, more Tysons.

Arrow Saturday, December 21, 2002 @ 2:32 am

OMG, Ross is pissing me off so much. It’s like he’s being mean just to spite me or something. I can’t even be in the same room with him … grr it’s so aggravating … you don’t understand. But he yelled at me for no reason, so I have reason to be hostile towards him.

I also got back from seeing Shaune, Willi, Chris, and Steve, which was uneventful. They had me drive out to Georgetown to sit with them in Soho for 10 minutes, and then drive back to Harris Teeter for half an hour. Where all we did was follow Shaune around the store while she talked to her boyfriend on the phone, and now I’m here. Fun fun *yawns* And I’m so tired, I’m going to bed after I write this and update my calendar.

Tomorrow’s gonna be busy … I basically get to spend the whole day at Tysons (again) … first to shop for Christmas presents, and then work. Oh joy. Well I’m going to bed now before I collapse … adios.

And *hugs* to Brian

Time of the month, class ring.

Arrow Friday, December 20, 2002 @ 12:20 pm

Oww … I hate that time of the month, especially when it sucks, like now, which it hasn’t in awhile. Like I’ll get these waves of dizziness and feel like I’m gonna puke … blah. Good thing there’s Midol, haha. But oh well … I just hope I don’t have to work today.

Anyway, guess what? My class ring just came in the mail! It’s pretty cool, though I dunno why I didn’t get my year engraved on it *shrugs* Ah well, it’s still cool. And Shaune’s coming back today, she said she’d be here around 6. So gotta see her sometime. As well as all the other people who wanted to hang out over break, lol. Like Liz, Sarah, Shaune (with Will), Charlotte, Kristen, Brad (if he gives me a good reason to), and probably someone else I forgot. And of course Brian

Okay, well gonna go try out some new blog software I found (b2 and GreyMatter), and according to Michael who commented a few posts ago, b2 doesn’t suck (like Blogger  ). So yay! Adios.

PacSun, Christmas shopping.

Arrow Friday, December 20, 2002 @ 12:06 pm

Ow, my legs hurt. But that’s okay, I’ll get used to it eventually *twitch twitch* LOL.

Anyway, today was cool. I set my alarm for 10 this morning (though the computer guy woke me up at 9 asking for my XP password) ’cause people might come at 11 to see the house. But no, only 1 person comes at 1, and I’m gone by then. So I could’ve slept ’til 11:30 — grr.

Then for work I was on call, and when I called Nicole she said she didn’t need me, but then 10 minutes later she calls back asking if I can come in (which I do) ’cause someone else couldn’t come. So I go in at 1, and spend 10 minutes looking for a frickin’ parking place ’cause I’m not that experienced with the Penney’s lot yet. But I’m getting there. So I barely make it, and after putting my stuff down and clocking in, I spend the whole time doing shipment, watching the dressing rooms and shoe area, and helping people. I also learned how to make tags … and yesterday I learned how to make those little white sticker price things … lol it was fun. I like playing with the gun things. It seemed a long time ’til 6:30 though (5 1/2 hours) … I dunno how I’m gonna make it from 6:30 - midnight on Saturday, lol (6 1/2 hours). I think it’ll be my longest shift yet … happy happy joy joy. But I’ll survive … especially if I have tomorrow off

I also met 3 more of my co-workers. Anusha (which sounds too much like Brad’s girlfriend’s name, but reminds me of Jasmeen) is really cool and hyper, Kristen is new, like me (I think), but didn’t get to talk to her much ’cause we were at opposite ends of the store, Sahar’s new too, but she must’ve stayed for like 2 minutes ’cause I only saw her twice … and then Dawn (the district manager) came to give Nicole a break, and she’s nice — I didn’t have to “be on my best behavior” like this other girl (gotta find out her name) jokingly told me. So maybe that was like 5 people … oh well, bite me  And why hasn’t Shawn been there? He’s the assistant manager, shouldn’t he, like, show up? LOL oh well, I’m sure there’s a good reason … maybe he’s away or he always comes after me or something *shrugs* And Chrissy keeps teasing me about how quiet I am — though no one else has commented on that (see Brian? ). Hehe, she’s cool too. So yeah, that’s my work experience for today. If you really care, check back tomorrow for more!

Afterwards, after clocking out and saying bye to everyone, I meet Brian and we go to The Rainforest Cafe for dinner, which is awesome. It’s my first time eating there, and I definitely wanna go again — I got this awesome Oreo/coffee/frozen yogurt drink and pizza with pepperoni, black olives, mushrooms, and Italian sausage. It was good, and I still have half left, which I’ll probably have for lunch tomorrow. It’s either that or Lipton Asian noodles, lol.

Then we go Christmas shopping at CVS (I got a funny cat card for Dad) and Borders, after driving around for half an hour trying to find the place, lol. And note to self: get Harry Potter calendar for Ross (not LOTR ’cause he said he’s not seeing it ’til after NY and CT), Far Side calendar for Uncle Chris, and Best Scenario book for Dad. Umm … then we go back to my car, decide to go home ’cause we’re both really tired … and now I’m here. Yeah. And about to fall asleep sitting up, so adios! Ooh ooh, and I get my cell phone tomorrow! Yay! I can’t wait to play with it  Hehe.

Hard test, almost done, Erica.

Arrow Monday, December 16, 2002 @ 11:49 am

Okay, this isn’t true, but oh well:

Care Bear quiz
What Care Bear are you?

And yeah, I failed my microbiology exam. Like I knew everything that she said was gonna be on it, but then the random stuff … I basically left question marks … I just couldn’t remember the answers *sigh* I’ll be happy if I get a C. And then Erica was pissing me off last night. She was making fun of me ’cause I wrote “*hugs*” to Brian, and then started IMing me, writing everything in asterisks. At first it was funny and I was playing along, but then she started saying stuff about how Brian’s too “old” … and even though she’s done it before, I’m just sick of it. So I was like whatever, and went to bed … and now she’s out with Meg or Becca or someone, she never hangs out with me anymore. But screw that … if I ever did anything to her, let me know.

Anyway … I have one more day here, and it needs to hurry up and end. I gotta start packing today, and finish up my fractal with Sarah, if she remembers. And anyone have some silver glitter? ‘Cause I can’t find any in the art room … and it’d make my fractal look much better than it does now. Blah … and then the poem last night from Ms. Leip was disappointing. She made jokes about everyone else’s love lives and hobbies, but mine was ONLY about my summer job thing here. That’s not even what people know me for. People know me as the internet freak with a constant boyfriend. And I ride too. So yeah, that was annoying … it was the only thing I was looking forward to at banquet.

Well, it’s almost lunch time, and I’m debating whether to go or not. Knowing me, I’ll probably give in and go, despite my stomach feeling weird. Grr. Oh well … but not like anyone’ll miss me if I stay here.

Blogger can die.

Arrow Friday, December 13, 2002 @ 11:59 pm

OMFG. It did it again: Blogger erased my entry for no reason. WTF! This is so annoying, I didn’t do anything. I wonder if GrayMatter is sucky like this. Blah … umm, guess I’ll just try to replicate it …

So I got my work schedule, yay:

Wednesday, 12/18: 8 am - 1 pm
Thursday, 12/19: 1 - 6:30 pm
Friday, 12/20: 5 pm - 12 am (aw, no SR-71 concert)
Saturday, 12/21: 6:30 pm - 12 am

When I called Nicole wasn’t there, but apparently Sean is a manager of some sort, ’cause the girl who answered put me on hold for him. LOL, and when I told him who I was, he was like, “oh I remember you!” Hehe, so yeah. He’s cool. I’m glad the schedule wasn’t made up for Sunday yet, ’cause if it was and I was working at night, I’d be screwed for Ford’s Theater. Gotta remember to tell Nicole about that.

Anyway, tonight was so unproductive. Though I tried, I was too tired to study, and basically laid there for 2 1/2 hours going in and out of sleep. Everytime I looked at the book I just kinda moaned, laid my head down, and sighed. LOL. Dunno why I’m like this, ’cause I went to bed early last night and back to bed this morning after morning meeting for 3 hours. Maybe Meg’s right about my late nights catching up with me *shrugs* They haven’t before, though. But after those 2 1/2 hours, I didn’t feel as dead, so I got up, had some sugar and coke and got ready for bed, and felt a little better. Then I skimmed the rest of what I needed to in Big Red … I’m gonna review vocab and literary terms and all that tomorrow. Man, I’m so glad my exam isn’t at 8. If it was, I don’t know how I’d survive  Poor Erica, though … her hardest exam is tomorrow morning.

Speaking of which, she got into her first choice school today, Wash U — she was freaking out and running around and telling everybody, hehe, it was funny. She applied early decision, so she’s officially done: go her. I wanna be done! Stupid January 15 notification dates … lol. Ah well … it won’t be too long after Christmas break, I hope.

I also worked on my fractal for a little bit after dinner, and I’m finally on the white paint. All the rough edges are starting to go away, which I’m happy about, ’cause Sarah isn’t exactly the neatest painter, haha  So yay.

Oh yeah, and somehow the internet has been working without the firewall today. Cool.

And note to self: Grandpa teaches at The New School near Greenwich Village (where Liz Markey is, though she goes to NYU).

Well, I’m still tired, so after Brian gets on (which hopefully will happen soon … hint hint?), I’m going to sleep. Adios.

Brad rant.

Arrow Friday, December 13, 2002 @ 1:43 pm

Okay, wtf? I was just talking to Ashley, and she basically tells me that Brad’s doing the same thing to her that he is to me — he doesn’t care at all, all he wants is sex. Like I thought. What a bitch. She was like, “he told me that I better be single by the time school’s out or else.” Geez, I’m so pissed, what does he think he is? Some invincible guy that no one can resist? Right. I feel sorry for his girlfriend too — he doesn’t care about her, never sees her. Ash said once she asked what Neusha was doing, and he was like, “I dunno, probably sleeping.” And all that stuff he said to me that was “true?” BS. God, I can’t believe how much time I’ve wasted with him … I need to listen to my friends more often *sigh* Oh well, stuff with him is over, and now I have Brian, so it’s all good, hopefully. Well, enough ranting about him (yet again), so adios.

LOL, and I told Ash to make him work to give her back her belt from Nick … she was like, “oh I will, it’ll be fun.” Haha good.
