No, you can’t have my ID.

Arrow Wednesday, October 23, 2002 @ 4:36 pm

Okay, so yeah, I was talking to Brad last night, and one of the first things he says is that Nick invited his ex, Jessye, down to TX and is sleeping with her, even though he’s still with Ash. That really sucks — he was like, yeah Nick just screwed himself over. But I was talking to her, and she was like whatever, I don’t care. I dunno if that’s good or not … geez, she needs to find a good guy. Stuff like this is always happening to her. But anyway.

After that we just kinda talked about stuff … among which was the topic of him still liking me. But it’s weird ’cause of Neusha and all … I mean, doesn’t he care about her? She is his freakin’ girlfriend … but I dunno … he said they were having communication problems. Hopefully things will work out, though. Then I went to bed at 3 in the morning and got up at 6:30 lol — 3 1/2 hours of sleep. Didn’t feel too good in the morning, but I was fine after the first couple classes

Umm … also had my English midterm today, I think it went pretty well. I know I missed some of the vocab and maybe part of the first essay, but other than that, I think I’m good. So yay

Well, gonna go take some more quizzes (I’m getting addicted  ) … so bye!

Oh yeah, and Allena asked me if I could take her out clubbing when she turns 18 in December — I was like hell yeah! Haha. And before that some people were like, hey can I borrow your ID to go out tonight? I was like umm no … you don’t even look like me. It’s just wrong, and they’re not even my friends. If they were, I’d say maybe … but not to random people who don’t care. But anyway … yeah.

Freakin’ sniper.

Arrow Tuesday, October 22, 2002 @ 12:14 pm

Blah, there was another shooting this morning in Montgomery County, MD — a 40-year-old bus driver. Geez … I heard on the radio as I woke up, and was like great. According to CNN, the sniper left a note at one of the weekend scenes that demanded money and threatened “more killing” (specifically children). So far, there’s been 9 people killed and 3 wounded, and the first 6 were in Montgomery. This really sucks. And the shooting a few days ago in Ashland was like 1/2 mile from Randolph Macon, where some people here last year went.

And now it’s served lunch time, so adios.

No procrastinating this time.

Arrow Monday, October 21, 2002 @ 11:02 am

Okay … haven’t posted in awhile. Oh well.

Well, the weekend was interesting. Gonna call dad tonight and see if he suspects anything, lol. Hopefully not … if so, I’ll just tell him I didn’t get his calls ’cause I was out Saturday night and in the shower Sunday morning, and didn’t check the blinking light ’cause a message had been left before for him, so I just thought it was that. Yeah.

OMG, and I was looking over the microbiology project I have to do for the exam in December, and it’s gonna take so long! It’s like, 10 reading assignments put together. Geez. But I have basically 5 categories to get info from … and I have like 5 weeks ’til it’s due, so I’m thinking of doing 1 category a week. Speaking of which, it’s Monday (blah), so I’m gonna start today after school. Yeah. Go me. This is the earliest I’ve ever started on a long-term thing

Class schmlass.

Arrow Thursday, October 17, 2002 @ 2:56 pm

Okay, so I’m taking a break from the never-ending microbiology homework. These freakin’ reading assignments are so annoying — half the stuff isn’t even in the book, even though she says it is. And then I screwed up this one section that took me like an hour, so I gotta do it again … blah. Oh well.

Today was funny, though — it seems like no one cared about class  In microbiology, everyone was falling asleep, in architecture, half the people were studying for an AP physics test (I just kinda sat there and listened lol), in math, somehow Blair got on the subject of circumcision, so we spent the whole first part trying to figure out the difference between having it done and not (Ms. Erba even participated and started drawing pictures on the board and telling us about her sons) … haha, everyone was just cracking up, like wtf? It was great

Then I had a double free, and just now in English, no one cared about listening (since the book doesn’t make any freakin’ sense), and we were just kinda laughing about random stuff. Mr. Matthews was like umm okay. Like always

Oh yeah, and I have more site stuff to do for Mr. Northrup — yay. I just gotta find the time to do it.

I gotta make Ross’s CD too. Blah. Speaking of CDs, 2 seconds before I put up my away message last night, Brad starts talking to me, and he told me all these songs to download, but I couldn’t find them, so he was like okay I’ll probably make you a CD then. Hmm. So that’d be interesting. Oh yeah, and I found out where Neusha works — Talbots at Tysons. Maybe one day I’ll go in and say hi. I gotta go and see the guy at KB too … except he’s never there. Oh well. Well, g2g ride and stuff now, so bye!

And btw, semi-formal was canceled ’cause of the sniper guy. I was pissed … but at least I don’t have to go to NY and can still stay home

Cold weather, love forward.

Arrow Tuesday, October 15, 2002 @ 4:15 pm

Well, today is the official start of cold weather … it’s like 36! If it’s gonna be cold, it needs to snow, and if not, then be warm, you know? Haha. ‘Cause I have riding later today, and I hate riding when it’s freezing outside … but oh well. Oh yeah, a Goucher representative is coming today, so I’m going to that. I have Spanish next, and then double English after break. Fun. And then riding … I just hope I don’t get sick or anything, ’cause that’s the last thing I need. Ah well, what can you do. By the way, about Sunday in the previous post — Brian and I went dress shopping again at Tysons, and this time we actually found 2 that I liked — but of course they were over $100, but luckily my dad said I could get one if I paid for the amount over $100 (like $60). So after much contemplating about which one I should get (’cause they were both awesome), I decided on this red/burgundy one — it’s in two pieces, is full-length, strapless, and has 2 ties down the front of the top. It’s cool. Now they just have to not cancel semi-formal (’cause of the shootings and other schools) … so yeah. But even if it is, this weekend will rock anyway! Okay, well I g2g now and do some stuff … so bye! Oh yeah, and this is a cute forward I got:

Since a very long time ago, people have searched for the meaning of love. But even the great philosophers, with their profound definitions, could not fully touch its true essence. In a survey of 4 - 8 year olds, kids share their views on love. But what do little kids know about love? Read on and be surprised that despite their young and innocent minds, kids already have a simple but deep grasp of that four-letter word:

“Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other.”

“Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your french fries without making them give you any of theirs.”

“Love is when someone hurts you. And you get so mad but you don’t yell at him because you know it would hurt his feelings.”

“Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is okay.”

“Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday.”

“Love is if you hold hands and sit beside each other in the cafeteria. That means you’re in love. Otherwise, you can sit across from each other and be okay.”

“Love is when mommy sees daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redbird.”

“I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones.”

“When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you.”

“You can break love, but it won’t die.”

42nd Street, Insomnia.

Arrow Monday, October 14, 2002 @ 10:41 pm

Oops, haven’t written in this for awhile. LOL, oh well — I have reason to — my weekend was awesome!

On Friday … umm … *thinks* (hey, it was a long time ago  ) … oh yeah, Brian & I had dinner and saw “42nd Street” with his parents. It was a cool show, I liked the dancing and the songs. If only I was that good, haha. On Saturday, we went dress shopping at Fair Oaks and didn’t really find anything (and the dress I saw before that I liked was gone) … then had anime night at Greg’s (with awesome pizza and wine), and then went clubbing for 4 hours at Insomnia! It was cool ’cause we randomly picked the weekend of Glow’s 3rd anniversary, and the line to get in was really long, but for some reason one of the bouncers took us up to the front, so our wait was really like 15 minutes, haha. I was like, score. Inside, the music was pretty good, and about halfway through some of the employees threw balloons and glow sticks to the crowd. I managed to find a glow stick a couple minutes later, so I was happy  I think the next club I wanna try is Platinum (or whatever) where they play remixed pop music … like the “Heaven” song (one of my favorites right now). And yeah, that night was really cool. And I would write about Sunday, but I g2g sign in now, so I will tomorrow or something … adios!

Happy grades.

Arrow Thursday, October 10, 2002 @ 4:58 pm

Don’t you hate it when you forget to save sent mail? Grr. LOL.

Oh yeah, and guess what? I got my midterm grade for Spanish today, and I have an 81 (a B-)! Yay! I so thought I had a C or something. And I got an 82 on my first test, which I was surprised about. Yeah it’s not the best, but it’s higher than what I thought  I also had my microbiology test today, and I actually knew all of the material except like one thing I wasn’t sure about. So yay again!
