Blah, there was another shooting this morning in Montgomery County, MD — a 40-year-old bus driver. Geez … I heard on the radio as I woke up, and was like great. According to CNN, the sniper left a note at one of the weekend scenes that demanded money and threatened “more killing” (specifically children). So far, there’s been 9 people killed and 3 wounded, and the first 6 were in Montgomery. This really sucks. And the shooting a few days ago in Ashland was like 1/2 mile from Randolph Macon, where some people here last year went.
And now it’s served lunch time, so adios.

Mike says:
yeah, this was definitely an interesting time to be a bus driver in the college park area. the bus driver who was killed drove for a network of buses that we passed on the road pretty much constantly. the little kid who was shot (and survived) lived on the same street as one of the main professors i had that semester.
